"We spoke with this client on 12-7-15. He has been a customer since January 2010. He is still a client and stated that the service and the monitoring has been great the entire time-over 6 years! His main issue is that six months after he purchased his system, he spoke to a neighbor who had a different company and the neighbor told him that he was paying too much. I reviewed this client's file and he received the discounted package we offer as well as $5 less than our regular monthly rate. This customer also purchased 12 additional window sensors, a keyfob remote and a smoke detector. He paid for them at our normal rates and signed the standard 36 month agreement. He was not overcharged in any way. He told me he has absolutely no complaint about the service, the installation or the monitoring response. And his additional purchases were completely optional. He could have stayed with the discounted package and never added to it. But for his security, he wanted more coverage. We understand that other companies charge less money. That is because they use inferior product lines. Their window sensors do not have back up capacitors in them, nor do they report a failure if the battery dies or someone tampers with the sensor. These are all features of our sensors and the exact sensors in this customer's home. Our systems check the health constantly and notify us, the customer and the monitoring station if something is wrong. Also our monitoring is provided by a 5 Diamond Monitoring company that has just been awarded the Best Security Company in the Nation for the second time. We cannot understand how a customer can give such a terrible rating after 6 years of happy service, especially since the system is still working great and he is happy with the monitoring. This customer is not comparing apples to apples and we know our competition. He would have paid similar prices for the same services with different companies. He has no appreciation for the great service we have provided him, nor does he appreciate that he hasn't had false alarms, nor does he appreciate the exceptional emergency monitoring that he receives. He has the highest quality system. He assumes all companies are exactly alike and there is no advantage to another. We are known in the industry for our great service, our excellent equipment, and our technology. And that is exactly what this customer enjoys every day! As with all security companies in Florida, this customer could have changed his mind and cancelled his agreement in the first 3 days. But he didn't. It was only after a neighbor told him he paid too much that he wanted to get a different rate. And he was apparently unhappy that he could not renegotiate an agreement, part way through. He was very happy for the first 6 months. We rely on our reviews and I would hope that others will consider that we did everything correct with this client and we still are. His neighbor just made him feel foolish. I guarantee that his neighbor is using an antiquated system on a phone line, that his equipment has service issues and most likely false alarms. I am sure either he does not have a permit or had to get one when he received his first false alarm bill from the sheriff for $250. Our clients do not h have to deal with these types of issues and neither has this client. As you read this and are deciding which company to trust with your security, please ask yourself, "Why is this person still our client?""
