Alico Tile & Marble

I interviewed him and he convinced the could et our floor correct. We had it sealed but it kept bleeding black dust. He pointed out all the things the other work man did. He promised clean floors not shiny and clean white grout. He did the floor and I told hi it did not look right. He said it has to dry and cure. It would have white grout and even glow on floor tile. Well the floor came out shiny in parts and flat dull in others. There are marks and shadows all over the floor. I made him come back and he said it was the tile not the work. It would cure. I went to home Depot and explained what the floor was like the tile guy who worked ,30 years said he installed the sealer improperly. I called him,and he told me they didn't know what they were talking about. Then the builders installer,and a fellow from a tile company looked at it and told me it was a mess. It needed a haze reducer but the grout is really a problem. Octavia came back looked at the floor and said it looks fine. It's clean ,sealed and that's what you got. I told him others agreed that the floor was done poorly and the white grout he promised is brown and back. He did and said it will dry and cure be patient. He told me I need to just rub out the high gloss and dull spots. It looked normal to him,that the shadows were the tile. Another lie. A pH application was needed. After I became hostile he said he would try. The grout was going to dry white. 2 days it should be dry. He just kept lying. Trying to blame the tile and not his poor workmanship! He was perfectly ok with leaving my brown grout and leaving. He said he would try to fix the tile. That there is o problem with. He made it like I was nuts. He is a liar and cheat,and anyone that would leave my house is he tried to weasel out is dishonest. I asked him firmly to get out of my house . I wouldn't let him cut my grass. I hired someone that fixed the faulty tile ,that he messed up. He ph applied and buffed and the floors came back much better. The grout though,he wieves since the dirt is sealed in,a have to be insealed and recleaed. It may actually be damaged. 575 plus 209,plus who knows with the grout. It's dishonest. I feel like he stole my money and lied to protect his take! Now it's going to cost me more because does not know water is doing. He lied to me and caused damage to my budget and very possibly my floor.i am so upset,nhe was the most expensive and promised the most qualified. He left things everywhere. Put a shelf unit in y tub. I didn't find it until after he left. The whole experience is lackluster and ack of honest effort. E believes he can bully people to accept his poor quality. He tried with me,but picked the wrong person. I may be 76 but you cannot take advantage of every of person. He is a bad representative. What I have relayed here is truth. You can look at the grout and there are parts of the tile the other jobbers just could not get effect. He said the floor schie shave caused abrasions. The tile is going on 3 ears old in February. We are only here 5 months a year. Our grout was white as I can illustrate in photos. Now it's brown and black. Very disturbing you hore supposed pros that a come well recommended and can damage your property. I counted on your company to provide what you advertise. Above average professional jobbers. He certainly is not one in my view. Lying to my face and trying to lay name on others is immature

Octavio with Alico Tile did such an excellent job on my backsplash tile, that I had him install the tile for my island as well. He was very meticulous with his work and paid attention to every detail. His communication from start to finish was second to none and his work is some of the highest quality I have seen. I would recommend Alico Tile for any tile needs. I will definitely use him again for any tile, flooring or outdoor kitchen needs I may have. Thank you for a job well done!

Octavio did a marvelous job on repairing and refreshing the tiles and grout on our spa ... showed up on time, did great work, cleaned up after and was pleasant professional throughout. I highly recommend Octavio.

He cancelled the appt half an hour before he was due to arrive. We re scheduled for the same time 3 days later and he showed up almost 2 hours late. He tried to charge me $100 more than we had agreed to and then hi machine to clean the grout didnâ t clean the grout. I asked him to scrub and he refused, saying he didnâ t have a scrubbing brush with him, but after a long conversation where he could plainly see the grout was still black, he finally miraculously found a scrubbing brush and did a not too bad job. Certainly wasnâ t what I expected, but not a total write-off. I would NEVER hire him again nor recommend him to anyone else! Very disappointed.

I was unsure using Home advisor but the responses were great. I chose Alico due to our face to face and the way he responded back to my questions and warrenty. He is spot on.

Responded quickly and came to quote. Offered suggestions for finishing edges (using stainless steel tile). Worked quickly and cleaned up the area when finished. Would definitely hire Octavio again.

I couldnâ t overstate the great job Octavio from Alico Tile and Marble did on installing my ceramic floor tile. From our first meeting It was very evident what a personable guy he was. He gave me a great price (I had other estimates) and went through explaining the process from removing carpet to the finished laying of the tile, explaining the cost of each step. He was on time every day and was very neat. I ran into a major problem when 4 boxes of tile delivered by Fed Ex showed up broken. Fed Ex then lost my tile (twice) which pushed completion of the project back a month. Octavio called me often to check if the replacement tile had arrived and assured me not to worry, he would be back to finish up the job. The tile arrived and the next day he was at my place. The floor looks beautiful and I have had many compliments on the job. I would highly recommend Alico Tile and Octavio for any tile job. So glad I picked Octavio for this job

Octavia was a total perfectionist! Did such a beautiful job retiling our shower & bathroom floor. We cannot believe how perfect & beautiful the master bathroom looks now. Would definitely use him again. Only wished we'd found him sooner.ð

Alico Tile and Marble is top notch. Octavio is a professional at his craft, he showed up on time, provided quality work, tiling the whole house corner to corner. Stay away from this contractor, he is a bad person, He taken a substantial down payment and has not done the work and has not come back. And refuses to provide a refund or do anything about it.

Octavio has worked for us for two years. He has remodeled our bathroom-EXCELLENT JOB. Tiled our lanai- Excellent job. He has tiled our kitchen, again excellent job. He is prompt and completes the projects on time. Octavio is Highly recommended..
