Well. He found a replacement part from somewhere and replaced a section of the motor that was fused from age and an electrical issue.

ABC checked it out and recommended against repairing due to the age of the unit and the cost involved. I very much appreciated the honesty and integrity that was shown.

Fantastic! After searching for a belt replacement for weeks online and in stores, they not only had the replacement part in stock but made sure that the machine was running fine. They were very professional and very nice to deal with. I will shop only at ABC for any future needs and highly recommend them.

I have a very old Singer sewing machine and foot pedal started sparking. Paul at ABC Vacuum and Sewing knew right away what was causing the problem. Machine was fixed for a very reasonable price. Excellent service.

n the past I've had my machine cleaned and small repairs done by Paul Gornshteyn, the owner. This time when something went wrong I then received a message to "please call about your sewing machine" and just knew it wasn't good news. It was unable to be repaired. Paul knew that I wanted the machine for charity quilts that I make and I had basically worn out my simple little machine. This started a long process because I really didn't want to spend a lot of money. He went over with me all his used machines and explained which ones would work for what I need and which ones didn't. I would go home and research and call him about other models I had reviewed. He was patient for the week or so that I called and stopped by and always answered my questions courteously. Ultimately I bit the bullet and bought the one considered to be a long wearing and repairable machine used for quilting. The price wasn't any lower than I could get elsewhere but I do have two years of free servicing included. I feel that Paul really knows sewing machines and will tell you pros and cons of models tailored to meet your needs.

They provided a power cord for my mother's machine and did a great job cleaning them both up! They were done earlier than expected and the price was very reasonable. The gentleman was knowledgeable and courteous. A first rate experience!

He fixed it good. He was very nice. He told me that it would be around 4 or 5 days so I took it in on a Friday and he called about Wednesday or Thursday the next week so I went and I got it. He seemed very good. Even when I was in there, there was an older lady that had a vacuum sweeper and he fixed it for her. He was very nice to her and he helped carry the things in and out for both of us. I think he was quite a nice man. Overall, he was excellent. The price seemed reasonable. He listened and he asked questions, and he knew right away when I told him what was happening and what was going on so that was good. I figured it would take about a week, and that was what it was. He was very nice and professional.

It had been moved and during the move the chord had gotten ripped off. They had to order a new apparatus. With it being an older machine it took a little longer, and they cleaned and serviced it. They did a fine job and I was happy with it.

The gentleman I worked with offered a trade in on a better machine but I decided to have it repaired. He took care of the issue promptly and returned the machine the next day. He was very friendly and professional. I will definitely take my vacuum cleaner there for servicing.

The man that was there was very, very good. It turned out it was just a needle, he didn't charge anything for his time, so I took his card, and told him I would recommend him to other people. He took my machine apart, you don't hardly find people like that. He took the feet apart as I thought that was what it was as it wasn't working, then he looked at the needle, took 15-20 minutes, determined that's what it was, and didn't charge me. I give him high ratings and would go there, again. I know a lot of people with sewing machines and will recommend him.
