Very poor communication Lack of supervision of the subcontractors Work would stop for weeks at a time Received 4 certified letters from suppliers and subcontractors for Wolfe’s Construction group non payements Had one lien put on our house for non payement by Wolfe Construction Group Custom kitchen is falling apart within the first year and is under warranty and Wolfe Construction Group will not fix it. We will take this to small Claims court.

Picture Frame Windows were installed incorrectly which resulted in cracks right down the center of both. They refused to even come out to inspect. Had to go through the Window Manufacturer.

Wolfe Construction completed the job to perfection. Rob and his team are true professionals- from their customer service, to their attention to detail and craftsmanship. The job was done on time and I couldn't be more pleased with the final product. I will definitely call them again when I am ready to start remodeling the interior of my home. We are very happy with our remodeled kitchen. We met with numerous contractors who all basically had the same ideas for our kitchen. We decided to go with Rob Wolfe and Wolfe Construction based upon Robs ideas and vison for our kitchen and his level of knowledge. Once work started on our kitchen things moved quickly and the work crews were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The level of craftsmanship was high and the materials used were high quality. They performed the work right the way they said they would in a timely manner. We would hire Wolfe Construction again without hesitation.

The walls are up, the window and door are in. We are waiting on the inspections. Then the drywall can go up, then the stucco can be applied. Then the interior can be finished with tile on the floor and paint in the walls & ceiling. Then the lighting & fan will get put up. Then we will be ready for furniture to be put back in the room.

It's a shame that I have to write this negative review of Wolfe Construction Group after giving him such a favorable review of the first and much larger contract we had with him.
This contract was smaller which included the scope of work described above. All work was completed on time except the Cabana door which was a special order and took 8 weeks to come in. According to the contract, final payment wasn' t to be paiduntil the entire job was complete. However, knowing Rob Wolfe from previous work he had done for us, we trusted him and paid him everything except the $1500 for the door. When the door came in, he installed it himself and knowingly or not knowingly as he says, disconnected our alarm system and rendered it inactive. He never told us about it because he says he didn't realize it, but how could you not notice a wire attached to the door?? Fortunately, we discovered it when the alarm would't engage and called him but he refused to assume resposibility for fixing it. He wanted us to pay the alarm company to reconnect the alarm. When we adamately refused, he said that the wire was still attached to the old door and he came back to reattach it to the new door.
We also asked about the painting of the new door since we assumed that when something is replaced, that would mean putting it back to the original state particularly when in the contract that the entire bathroom where the door was replaced was paintedby him. Also, we expected large gaps to be caulked for the installation to be complete, but according to Rob Wolf that goes with the painting which was not in the contract. He was paid in full and he said he would let us know about when he could paint the door for an addtional charge. However, he recently told us the job was complete and he was not going to paint the door. I guess he was too busy and this was too small a job. However, he is being very short-sighted because
next winter we have plans to gut the kitchen and we will not consider Wolfe Construction for any future remodeling jobs.

"[Member name removed], Thank you for your review. You are almost correct in your review of the recently completed project, however you are leaving out some key information. We painted half of the cabana bath when your wife [Member name removed] decided that she had chosen the wrong color, we then purchased more paint and repainted the complete cabana bath at no charge. We did drywall repairs in the garage, and 3 bedrooms at no charge. I also put your sons bedroom furniture back together at no charge. During the day of the exterior door installation a thunderstorm came in just as I finished securing the door. I told your wife I would return as soon as the storm has past to finish the installation. Approximately 2 hours later, around 2:00 pm, you called me and were belligerently yelling about your home alarm system not working, saying it was "my fault". I informed you that I do not work on home alarm systems and you continued to yell at me. I then returned to your home to complete the exterior door installation and fix your alarm system at no charge. You asked me when I was going to paint the new door and I informed you that painting the new door is not included in our contract. You were not happy about this and felt that I should include the painting at no charge. [Member name removed], I have done quite a bit of work at your home. You and your wife were extremely happy with my company and services based on a previous review and hiring me for additional work. It is obvious that you are unhappy with me at this point because I am not willing to continue to work at your home for free. I am not being "short sighted" as you said in your review. Rob, was fantastic. He was responsive, prompt and when he came it evaluate for a quote- made great recommendations based upon his experience and enhanced our original plans for a functional open office space in the kitchen. He built the cabinets in his shop, took the wood counter tops we had already purchased back to his shop- sanded/cut/ created and "L" shaped floating counter top in less than a week and installed everything in ONE DAY! Rob is very professional and took a lot of time during the install to make sure every detail was correct. I would recommend Wolfe Construction to anyone who wants experienced, professional and an honest trustworthy partner in your homes building plans.
We were less than enthusiastic with some of my early communications with other companies for this job and their lack of responsiveness and honesty, had just about given up with Angie's List. So glad we tried one last time and worked with Rob and his company Wolfe Construction.
Keep up the great work Rob, I know you will be hearing from our family on our next project.

After being scammed out of $20,000 from the first contractor we hired, we were a little more than skeptical when we hired Wolfe Construction. However, Rob Wolfe earned our trust and respect by the quality of his workmanship and the professionalism of his employees and subcontractors he hires. Rob is a perfectionist and only wants the customer to get what they want. He doesn't take short cuts and neither does his employees. They worked deligently,were punctual, cleaned up after themselves, and were professional. He will finish on time and on budget (we went over the original contract budget because we kept adding things).We will use Wolfe Constriction for some other renovations that we need done .

I have flat roof that’s been leaking water. I called him to fix it, he fixed the problem. He still has to do the railing. I sent him an email explaining that the roof was a different color but he never responded. I also found out he owes money to a roofing company. They even sent me a warning of using this company on my property. Said it will take 2 week and it’s been going on two months. This guy is unreachable.

You hired my company to not only fix your roof, but also install a new PGT impact sliding glass door, re-tile your balcony with high quality porcelain tile, and fabricate and install a custom welded and powder coated balcony railing, approximately 40lnft of railing. We did not “fix a leak in your roof” we completely removed your existing flat roof and installed a new one, approximately 300sqft of flat roof. We replaced all of the plywood roof deck and rigid insulation due to extensive wood rot, approx. 10 full sheets. I also brought in my licensed electrician and had him rewire all of your faulty electrical circuits in your home that were existing hazards. We then patched all of the wall opening made by the electrician. This is the accurate scope of work for the job cost that you listed. The roofer was quite messy and we did resolve all of these issues to your satisfaction, and I was very apologetic and responsive to your concerns regarding this issue. The roofer did send you a “Notice to Owner” with his intent to lien your property. He did this because you made statements that lead myself and the roofer to believe that you may not pay for our services. You did not understand what the Notice to Owner was, you stated that “They even sent me a warning of using this company on my property” referring to the Notice to Owner. I tried to explain the process, however you refused to listen. We have passed all of our building inspections to date with the City of Plantation, we have fixed all of your existing problems, and we have overall improved the quality and appearance of your home tremendously. You have 3 telephone numbers to reach me at, you have my email address, and I am available via text message 7 days a week, for you to state that “this guy is unreachable” is disrespectful and false. I have paid the roofing company in full and you will receive a Final Release of Lien this week. I find it very interesting that you would make false remarks that I owe the roofing company money when you still have an outstanding balance due to my company. You have a 5 year warranty on all services provided, I hope you enjoy your newly renovated home! Best regards, Robert Wolfe President Wolfe Construction Group"

Rob was prompt to return phone calls and made it a point to personally visit and provide an estimate. The project was a 3 day project, and the right people were there when required to ensure that the job was done professionally and on-schedule. I was confident enough with Rob and his team after 1 day to add some additional demo and wall reconstruction to the project, and they were able to accommodate, squeeze into the schedule, and deliver at a fair price. Importantly to me - the team was thorough with the work, they paid attention to every detail, and they completely cleaned up everything that was moved or dirty from the painting and construction. ?I plan to contact Wolfe Construction in the future when I have painting or inside remodeling/construction projects.

I own a very old home in Ft. Lauderdale that had been abandoned for many years, this home was in such terrible condition and it needed some major TLC. Robert of Wolfe Construction was able to recognize major defects and flaws and provide a comprehensive plan to demolish about 50% of the home and rebuild, saving us tens of thousands of dollars. Most other contractors simply proposed "band aide" solutions. It took a true professional to devise a cost effective plan and execute it on a tight budget and short deadline. Wolfe Construction was a pleasure to work with and hires only true professional workers. I have known Robert Wolfe for years and they have done work on numerous properties of mine. I high recommend this company for any construction or remodeling services.

When I initially contacted Rob, I was not ready to start. He provided me with a number of intelligent color samples to look at. I bought little samples to paint on the side of the house. I narrowed the choices and he helped me with the final decision (based on his experience as to what would look good) and advised me on "trim" and "front door." I look like a million dollars, and the neighbors are jealous!

We had a fine experience. We thought he was a little bit overpriced but he had a good cool - we were quite happy. The colors came out beautifully. He was definitely responsible, trustworthy and did a very good job. They were very neat. They cleaned up nicely. We were not quite happy with the power-washing; I mean, we really had to get the paint off the pool deck and it was quite messy. So, we had to call him back. He was the only subcontractor that was not as good as the painters. The painters were very good. Excellent paint and neat. If you spend the money then you'll do fine with this company. Definitely a good, reliable and responsible company. The people that he hired made a very good impression.
