I would give them a B because they were late showing up.  Then when they left my door wouldn't shut due to the flooring.  I called them and told them and had to, what felt like pleading with them to come and make the repair so that my door would close properly.

Did 4 bedrooms and their respective closets plus MBR closet. Great work! On time, clean job, and friendly staff. Can't beat it for $1.99 per sq ft installation included.

The gentleman that did the stairs on day 1 was vey good. Took time to explain what he was doing, friendly and worked in a professional manner. Day 2. The head guy needed a worker to translate. One of the guys walked upstairs  only mumbles "oh s**t" At one time I walk upstairs to see how the work is going and I have several workers sitting down taking their lunch break talking in Spanish. They finished in the upstairs in 1 day and the price was ok. The guys who did the upstairs also used my neighbors garbage can to throw out some of the waste.  The work was decent few little mistakes,The stair guy  on day one was  good, the other workers on day two were rude. so I guess they balanced each other out.

The project, as far as US Wood Flooring was involved, was problematic from the start. First, they scheduled the wrong date for installation. Fortunately they called to confirm it, and we were able to move the date. When they did show up, I had trouble communicating with the installers because they largely did not speak much English. I showed them around and specifically showed them what I needed to do in the kitchen area. I needed them to remove some old laminate from under the refrigerator, but there was also some old laminate under the countertops and range that I needed them to leave alone. The reason they were supposed to leave alone the old laminate alone in those areas was because the previous home owner had built the kitchen cabinets and countertops on top of this laminate. The cabinets were shimmed on top of the old laminate. I also provided the installers tools to cut around that old laminate as needed. The one that seemed to be the leader acknowledged that they would leave alone the old laminate pieces that could not be removed, except to cut off what they could to hide the old stuff under the counter tops.
I left and took my daughter to the park while they set to work. When I came back a short while later to check on them, I immediately saw that they had just pulled the old laminate out from under the countertops. This resulted in the countertops, with heavy appliances and granite, only being supported by the wall bolts and not resting on the floor. The smallest section of countertop actually pulled away from the wall, resulting in damage to the back-splash area. Some grout was also damaged along the rest of the back-splash. After confronting the lead-installer, he helped me shim the counter tops back into place. It was not perfect, but an acceptable solution for the time-being. Unfortunately the problems did not end there. Another installer seemed to be arguing on his phone all day with a girlfriend (that's a guess, as I don't speak much Spanish), and didn't do much beyond that. Initially these guys had set up shop in my driveway to cut the laminate pieces. When I check on them later, they had moved their cutting operation into my garage. It wasn't rainy, so I couldn't discern the reason for this other than they didn't want to be in the sun. They did not clean up after themselves, and every surface in my garage was caked--CAKED--in a thick layer of sawdust. Including my laundry area where I had clean clothes hanging. The last install issue that I had that day was that one of the installers lost a piece of my closet door when they had taken the door off to install the laminate. So the entire group, including myself, had to go through a half-dozen construction garbage bags looking for the piece. It of course wasn't found, so I had to go buy new closet door parts later.
After that was all done with, the floor actually looked pretty good. Then about a week later I noticed that some of the laminate pieces had separated from each other in the dining area. I called the company that day, I think around October 1st, to schedule a repair. Their secretary, Andrea, took a message and promised that I would receive a call back to schedule the repair. For two weeks I left messages. Finally Andrea called me back to let me know that the repair was scheduled for Tuesday, October 15th. I wouldn't be there, but my wife was. Well the 15th came and went, and no one ever showed to do the repair. Needless to say, my wife wasn't happy after waiting around all day. I called the next day and they seemed to have no idea that no one showed to my house. I was told once again that I would receive a call back to schedule a repair. I even spoke to who I assume was their boss (TIM?) once or twice. After calling a few more times and getting no good response, I gave up.
Unfortunately, after a few months since the install job, the floor continues to deteriorate. There are additional sections in the floor where pieces continue to separate, leaving ugly gaps in the floor. This has also caused problems when my daughter has the occasional water spill, or the dogs track in rain. I am aware that you cannot leave water sit on laminate without consequences, but since the water can immediately flow into these gaps, some of the laminate pieces have warped. I believe the biggest cause of this gapping was that I have an area of the dining room that is not level with the rest of the subfloor. I backed it with wood, and then the installers were supposed to put extra underlayment there to help make up for imperfect subfloor. Knowing the rest of their install job as I do, I think they probably skipped the extra underlayment.
Bottom line, I wouldn't trust these guys to any jobs in the future.

They came in and did what they’re supposed to do but it was not the result that I expected. We have a selfendio tile, like that Mexican tile in the house and we had some tiles replaced and new grout. We were working with an architect and an interior designer. They recommended that we get the floors done before putting in the new kitchen and so we did. They cleaned the entire downstairs. They charged us about $800 to clean the tiles and grout so what I was expecting was that the grout was going to change color or was going to get cleaned and look different but it looks exactly the same. I don’t know what he did. He put some sealant on which I did not really notice any difference. It’s like they did the job but I can’t tell that they did it. I have to take their word for it. The guy was professional and really nice. I just did not really see the result.

I was looking to replace flooring in my home and I knew that I wanted to go with laminate floors. I came across US Wood Floorings website on Craigslist and the first thing that caught my attention was the price. I am getting ready to put my house on the market and I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but the floors HAD to be replaced, and I needed them to be installed (no do-it-yourself). I went on Angie's List to see any reviews and they only had two. I was a little skeptical, because one of the ratings was not very flattering, which made me nervous; however, I decided to take a leap of faith and try them. I went to the Davie showroom on a Wednesday to see the samples and to get an estimate of the cost. The sales girl and the owner/manager were very helpful. They offered for someone to come out to my home for a free estimate; however, I did not need that as I had already taken the measurements and brought them with me to the showroom (600 sq. ft.). I chose the Golden Sapelli, which is 8.3 mm, and has a 25-year warranty. It is hard for me to miss work and they set an appointment for installation on a Sunday. Removal of the old flooring was included in the price. I had all the furniture moved and ready for work to begin when they arrived. Two installers arrived, on time, at 9:30 a.m., they were very polite and respectful. They worked hard throughout the day. They took a 30 minute lunch break and then had all the areas completed around 2:45 p.m. They cleaned up and hauled away my old flooring, even sweeping down my front walkway of the accumulated dust from cutting the wood. My new floors look absolutely beautiful and I am very please how everything turned out; from beginning to end. After my experience, I would definitely recommend US Wood Flooring to anyone looking into having laminate floors.

Just as a side note. The price I paid was for the laminate, pad, mouldings, and installation, complete.

I saw the ad for www.uswoodflooring on craigslist. Natan (owner) came out about 2 weeks prior to take measurements and show me samples. His prices seemed too good to be true and there was no physical address listed, so I was skeptical. I called some references he gave me. Everything checked out, so I hired them. I was told the job would take about 1 1/2 days, but it ended up taking 2 full days. A team of about 5 people showed up on time on the scheduled date and went right to work, ripping up the existing carpeting and laminate. When I came back at lunchtime, about 1/4 of the house was done already. The 2nd day, there were only 2 workers, but they worked quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and took all the old flooring away. It's only been about 2 weeks, but so far I am very happy with the work they did. The only issue I have is that the floor is a bit noisy. I can hear every footstep that my cat makes. I'm in a ranch, so they probably didn't use the thickest padding.
