I'am Simo Mansor, owner of Urgent AC located in the Fort Lauderdale City. I have been in the air conditioning business for over 12 years and I am State certified master HVAC contractor. Urgent AC is a family operated company, driven by customer satisfaction. Our goal is to provide a high quality service for the lowest price possible (fair for both company and customer but below market price). Service was excellent. I had an issue several weeks later and they came back out and didn't charge me anything, even though it wasn't their fault.

Stay away!!! The worker that was on this job took weeks to complete the job. He then had to return several times to finish and things still weren't right. I now the AC unit is freezing up because the intake was not installed correctly. I now have to hire another company to fix the brand new installation. Stay far far away

"I am very disappointed to see that you went with another company, and that we won't be doing business with you. However, I am surprised to see a review posted on the 2nd of July, when we were at your house on the 3rd of July changing out a 6 inch return duct to 10 inch return (which was not included in the AC change out duct) and fixing your freezing issue ( all free of charge). We installed for you 3 AC units, and they all passed city inspection. The tech returned twice or three times to fix an issue with the filter that was clogged up, and another time a drain clog caused the unit to stop for lack of maintenance. you gave us a bad review before and yet you called us to install your ACs. I just wished that you stayed a little bit longer with us, and I am sure that you would of being satisfied. Again, sorry to see you go."

The service was terrible. The guy came and said the coils too bad to work on and there was nothing he could do. He said he had a school emergency and never came back. I never even heard back from him. I ended up having to get a whole new unit with Modern Air. Scheduling with them was easy, however.

Urgent AC was very responsive and arrived exactly when they said. The technician was polite and great to work with. Repairs were completed on the same day. I was very pleased with the price and expected to pay more, based on experience with other contractors.

I purchased a deal offer from Angie's list add. They contacted me the next day through Angie's list message and we set up an appointment. They gave my A/C a check-up and made recommendations for efficient use of my cooling system. I had some concerns of problems in the past and he advised how to avoid them. He gave me an estimate for installing a float switch which I had asked about. He was prompt, friendly and was done quickly(since I had no issues) yet stopped to talk to me about my concerns. I felt I really got my money's worth. Thank you Angie's list for recommending them.

It was okay but I think it was a rip off because I could have them do $20 than their advertise price. Basically, they charged me $60 but their price is $20 and they rarely do anything. However, they were fine.

I don't think they did too much. They offer me a lot of things that they could do for me but the only thing that they did was to refill the Freon on my a/c unit and they charged me separate for that which makes sense I think.

The worker was on time and very professional. He checked out both the chillers and compressors, cleaned the filters and told me how to maintain the system. What I liked there wrere no hidden charges and he didn't try and make up a repair that wasn't necessary. I highly recommend them.

Since I did not go on top of roof I can only assume the a/c inspection was done correctly. The inspector seemed knowledgeable regarding the a/c unit.

Approximately 5:30 PM on a Friday afternoon I noticed that the A/C was running but it was not blowing cold air. I discovered that my compressor was not running. About 3 weeks previous I had contacted them about an A/C check that was a deal from Angie's List and was very satisfied with that service. I called Urgent A/C a few minutes later expecting that, being the end of the day, I might have to wait until the morning for them to come by. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call back in a couple of minutes from the tech who told me he would be by in about a half hour. He promptly arrived and after about 45 minutes was able to diagnose the problem as a broken wire and immediately repaired it. He also made sure that my system didn't have any other like issues.

Last service was re-doing the area for the A/C intake which was old and small. When he was done we had a new And bigger A/C intake which made the unit work better. Last year they installed a new unit which works great and also has reduced our electric bill tremendously They did a great job, they worked diligently and we felt comfortable with their professional demeanor and the result of their work. The price was lower than 3 other companies that gave us quotes, and comparable to 2 other companies, but their information and their knowledge of what we needed was what made us give them the contract. They did an excellent job and the A/C works great

My air conditioning starting cooling again. I am filing out this evaluation two months after so far it all seems OK.
The owner and the technician were very courteous and very willing to help. I would recommend this service provider. The technician that came took a lot of time to answer all my questions. They seemed very dedicated. He check everything and told me what I probably should expect with an A/C unit such as mine in terms of life expectancy and maintenance.

The coils were extremely dirty. I was extremely satisfied with their work. They did everything. They were very thorough, helpful, and knowledgable. I would give them an A+ if I could and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

He came in and was friendly, professional, and reasonable on price. I had a previous estimate from another provider for 1500. Urgent AC came in and assessed the situation and found out that it was only cut low voltage wire. He was able to repair it very quickly and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend this company.
