This was our second experience working with this company and we were extremely pleased. Bryan and his team are very professional, trustworthy and go great work. Bryan also does an excellent job communicating and managing expectations throughout the entire process.

Bryan is wonderful to work with. Out of the three contractors I called he was the only one that was concerned with hurricane limits and what was the best way to make sure I had a solid structure. He is forward thinking and he does provide ongoing updates with everything.

Bryan was very professional throughout, additionally his crew was very trustworthy.  He took care of our home as if it were his.  I would highly recommend Thompson Construction and will use them again in the future.

They were excellent. They really were. Not only did they do good work, they were very personable. We purchased the door. They told us what door to purchase. So, we went to home hardware and purchased the door. They put in all new architrave. It's all plasticized architrave. So it won't rot. Then they trued it up. He really was nice. He had to come back twice. He came when he said he was coming. The first time, he didn't come when he said he was coming. But he phoned and said that he was tied up in traffic and that his previous meeting had gone a little late and he apologized profusely. But, he got there maybe in half an hour and that was no big deal. He really was very personable. We didn't want to buy as expensive a door as he told us to get. But he explained to us why we should get that door. He was sort of like, "Do you want it to be good for five years or do you want it to be good for 20 years?" So, it made more sense to be good for 20 years. So, we went ahead and bought the extra expensive door and it's working great. It absolutely is. He was a very very nice man. He was very polite. I would use him again in a heart beat.

Bryan was very professional throughout, additionally his crew was very trustworthy and solid.  They take their time to fully understand our vision before presenting all possible options with estimated pricing for each before making any recommendation.  Once they have presented the idea, they stayed on budget and on time.  Nothing in remodeling an old home is an exact science so it was helpful when he would provide updates when things were going as planned or surprised came up.  I would highly recommend Thompson Construction and will use them again in the future.

I've used Bryan Thompson for a number of  construction jobs at my house, both big and small.  Given my great experiences with Bryan, I've also had no problem referring Thompson Construction to my friends and family. Bryan has always been prompt, honest, and fair with his pricing. If you need a general contractor in South Florida, do not hesitate to give Bryan a call.

Incredibly well. From the beginning, Bryan always called us back right away. Came out multiple times before the project to make sure our plan was secure and we were at ease with what his team would be doing. When his team arrived the day of, they were on time, clean, professional and so positive. There were adjustments we had to make to our reconfiguration of the bathroom and they were so willing to find solutions. So many contractors say why things can't be done. That never happened. They were the most wonderful part of our project. So much so that we have hired them to build out our loft over our living room in a few months. Their craftsmanship was so good that even the granite company commented on how well the tub frame was built. Bryan and his team went above and beyond to make sure our project went perfectly, and even checked in after their parts were done to make sure things were going well. Our next project is huge and we have to move out of our house for it to be done, but I'm 100% at ease knowing that they will be taking care of my home.

The provider was referred to me by my reroofing company because we ran into additional problems while reroofing. Upon discovering some water damaged walls, the owner, Bryan responded by coming out to assess the problem and give a quote for the work. Bryan Thompson was professional and knowledgeable. Considering the scheduling of the reroof process,
I felt that Bryan?s crew were amenable and accommodating. His foreman, Dave and his crew, seemed knowledgeable and perfectly able to do the job well. During the phases of the reconstruction, they were polite, professional and cooperative of my need to occasionally observe and document (with pictures) the process. They cleaned up behind themselves. They were mostly successful at trying to accommodate my concerns for my air conditioning units being covered to avoid any damage. I feel like they provided what was agreed to at the agreed upon price.
The only real problem I had came into play when a plumber referral was needed.  I regret not doing my own research and merely accepting his referral. Thompson was responsible for communications and scheduling with Kunes Plumbing (see review) and I was frustrated when a timing error was financially passed on to me.  Furthermore, the pricey charges I received based on inaccurate and dishonest billing were not fully addressed, I was told that my ?frustrations? would be passed on.  Since the charges were on the Thompson Construction invoice, I felt that Bryan should have handled and addressed my issues directly. After having a mostly positive experience with Thompson, this left a little bitter taste in my mouth. With that being said, I feel that Thompson and HIS crew did a good job for the work that was promised to me.

Installer arrived ahead of schedule, went right to work.  Very pleasant person.  Removed old door, installed new door, broom cleaned the area after job was complete and removed all debris.  I was very satisfied.

They are really great at solving problems, they have a can do attitude, they are friendly, and literate. They are smart people, they are trained in the North, and I found that Thompson Construction was truly sensitive to tradesmen. I would highly recommend them. They redid the house which was a real dump. I had two other quotes which were higher, and when you are redoing a house, you always come across things that were not expected, and they always did it with a positive attitude. They went above and beyond my expectations. He hired a lot of subcontractors which were good. He screened them out and they were good.  I got him from Angie's List.

Bryan and his crew were wonderful.  I wanted something a little different and "beach cottage" style.  Bryan embraced the whole idea and found some absolutely perfect wood-look tile which made the renovation so much better than I had originally envisioned.  They were very responsive and in always in touch via email, phone and text, and always showed up when they were expected.  More importantly, they were very responsible and trustworthy, doing all the work without in my home without my being there.  
When I am able to renovate more, I will certainly call Bryan and would easily recommend him to anyone.

This started out as a small job - just soundproofing two walls in adjacent bedrooms.  But I kept adding jobs.  This was my daughter's newly purchased house, so I wanted the children's bedrooms to be just what they (and I) wanted.  I added solid bedroom doors to two of the bedrooms to increase the soundproofing.  I also added knockdown ceilings for all three bedrooms, since they were the only rooms in the whole house without knockdown ceilings.  Finally, I decided to have all three bedrooms painted the colors requested by each child.  One child changed his mind after seeing the colors on the wall, so one room was painted twice.
All the jobs were completed in a professional and quality manner.
We did have a few issues with the painter, who no longer works for the company.  At every step of the way, as we brought up concerns, Bryan was right there, making things the way we wanted them.  He understood our issues and addressed them immediately.
Bryan was patient with my daughter putting furniture in the rooms before they were finished, and with other similar inconveniences.
 Bryan has pride in his company and the quality of their work.  He is hands on.  I would not hesitate to hire his company again for any similar work.

They did a great job....took two days to complete.

We just bought our first house and wanted to do some work to "make it ours".  I researched several contractors on Angie's List and reached out to 4 of them via AL message.  Bryan responded to my message via AL and phone within hours.  2 of the other companies never replied, and the 4th took 2 days.  So, from the start I was impressed with punctuality and professionalism.
He agreed to come visit to give an estimate.  We walked through everything and he took notes on his iPad which also impressed me.  He uses technology to help with the admin side of things, which was very convenient for me... invoices and payment confirmations emailed right away, answered my text messages, etc.
 During all our interactions, he was friendly, professional, and patient.  This being our first house, we were probably a little anxious and overly critical.  But Bryan would always listen to us and understand what we wanted.  When the laundry cabinets didn't turn out exactly what I had pictured in my head, he patiently went over it again with me and helped me explain what we wanted.  He then redid the cabinets, even though he really didn't do anything wrong in the first place.  I just hadn't explained myself enough.
In the end, Bryan and his team helped make our first home "ours".  Their work was very good, and their speed even better... we only had a week to do all the work and they finished everything on time.  We're thrilled with how everything turned out and enjoyed working with Bryan immensely.  We definitely recommend Thompson Construction & Remodel and plan to use them again for Phase 2!

I was very pleased to do business with Bryan. He is very accessible by phone and returns messages promptly. He never left me hanging. Rain was staining my ceiling but the roof was not the problem. Bryan came out on a moment's notice to put a tarp over the cupola on my roof. He discovered significant cracks in the stucco and he provided photos.He went up into the attic to confirm the source of the leaking and found that there was rain entering through the vents also. He drew up an estimate for the
repair and explained what materials would be used. After the estimate, Rich came out the same week and completed the repair
in one day. The finished job looks flawless and Rich provided me with photos. He painted the whole cupola and matched the 
paint perfectly. He did a perfect job cleaning up. Lastly, Bryan was very happy to talk to me about all of my concerns about the
water leak and to answer my questions.

Bryan was prompt for my appointment, and a very nice person. He did exactly what he said he was going to do; he fixed the roof. I have had no leaks or problems. I will definitely use Bryan again for his services. He is friendly, responsible, and very talented. I would recommend his services to any of my friends.
