The Moving Company Inc.

They turned out to be a moving broker and it was a nightmare. They don't tell you they're brokers until after you've already agreed to use them. They damaged stuff and they still have not been able to collect the damages. It ended up costing almost double the price quote they had originally given me. They dropped a piece of German antique. They knocked a leg out of it and I had to repair it. I have yet to be able to collect all the repairs for it. I would not recommend them. I am going to file a formal complaint against them since they don't tell you upfront that they do not actually move anything, what they do is they contact people. The people they got for me had already loaded half the truck in Atlanta and they came to Birmingham to get the rest of my things. We ran out of room and we ended up leaving some of my things behind but I had to be quick to start the job. When I called them to complain, the man who answered the phone was rude and horrible. He threatened me when I told him I might stop payment on the check. They're awful.
