The plumber was OK. But paid $165 to have him take five minutes to adjust a screw of a flush valve and fix my problem. $75 for the service call and $90 for five minutes of a plumber's expertise. I thought some work might be covered in the $75, but I may not have heard correctly. Maybe my fault. Their rates may be competitive, but I won't know until I have another plumbing problem. I will shop around next time.

Jose is top notch. Knowledgeable, professional, on time and gets the work done right the first time and fast! You can't ask for much more. Great job guys. I'll continue to support your business whenever we have plumbing requirements in the future.

Clear drain clog

In the past, I have used Terry's plumbing a couple of times. They were quite responsive and did a decent job. Today, unfortunately, was a TOTALLY DIFFERENT experience. We needed a part replaced in the back of the toilet. When we called, we were told $100 minimum charge. Knowing it wouldn't take long, we understood that was the minimum. When the tech arrived, he tried to charge $125, stating that he had to drive 30 minutes to get to our home. Stephanie, the unprofessional telephone representative of Terry's Plumbing, told me the job took 9 minutes. Unfortunately, based on the level (or lack thereof) of service, on the telephone that I received this evening, along with the change in price from $100 to $125 for a 9 minute job, I cannot in good faith ever recommend these folks again. NOTE: We ultimately only paid $100, but the fact that the tech tried to quote another amount, despite the fact that this was a 9 minute job makes me question integrity. Customer service is not a nice to have; it's a must have in today's world. The woman's lack of service on the telephone resulted in their loss of a customer who was loyal and recommended them to others in the past. After today, I can no longer recommend this company. When I told her I wanted to speak to the owner, she told me that wasn't possible and that she WAS the manager. I asked her multiple times how I could reach Terry, and was never provided an answer. If you call on them, good luck, and be aware of the prices to ensure you're not overcharged.

This all started with the third or fourth clogged house.  Decided to scope out the pipes.  They charged for the video scope, but never gave me the recording.  So I'm trusting what they say.
No itemized bill.  So I have no idea if the "discount for video" was applied.  I have no idea what was parts, labor.  No idea what was for cleaning the clog, versus replacing pipe.  
No credit card reader (they took an imprint of my AMEX... very 1980s.)  So, if you have a new card with no raised numbers, they can't accept it.  
Charged 5% for using a credit card.  Again, no itemization on the invoice, so this may have been fiction.
They did a great job, but since I was in a corner with a regularly clogging house, I get the impression I got fleeced.  For the remaining 30 feet of work, I'll get bids and fully expect to pay a fraction of this.
I can't really recommend these guys unless you have multiple quotes, in writing.

Anthony from NYC was terrific. He installed a new faucet for me. In the process he made sure the leak I was having was fixed. Tightened up loose joints and even fixed a stopper in my bathroom sink.
Priscilla, on the phone was equally as professional.
This is my second experience with them since moving to this area. I made the unfortunate mistake of using another company because they offered a "deal." Their deal cost me twice what I thought and they took no responsibility for an error they made. 
Anthony fixed something that they had done incorrectly and did not charge me for it. By doing this Terry's Plumbing has earned my loyalty.
Honest, professional and straight forward, not to mention with in reason pricing, there is no reason to use any one else.

He came out around the end of July.  I had to call the plumbing guy to come back out but they wouldn't send a new guy they insisted on sending the same inexperienced guy to fix the plumbing and this guy has insisted that this guy will fix his work.  I said look I don't want this inexperienced guy fixing my shower, I want somebody that knows what their doing and he said well believe me I've talked to him and he explained to me what he did and I told him what to do to fix it and he said it'll be okay and I said I still don't want the same guy and so they insisted, they sent the same guy out and I'm still not quite happy with the way shower fixtures work.  He tried to blame what he did on the tile guy.

PLUMBER WAS POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE,  FIXED PROBLEM, DOUBLE CHECKED EVERYTHING AND PROVIDED ADVICE ON RESOLVING OTHER ISSUES.

Terry's crew tunneled almost 30 feet under the house to expose and repair a broken drain pipe. He completed the work in a timely manner and limited the disruption to our normal household activities. Also installed a new water heater. Very professional company and Terry was on site frequently to make sure that the work was done according to local code.
