The phrase Caveat Emptor or Let the buyer beware has never applied more. My experience is like so many, an issue occurs and after discussing it, the vendor does not do what they say. In fact, they ignore it and try to blow it away like the fresh-cut grass. When there are so many vendors to choose from, shouldn’t you choose one that is reputable and honorable? Staying Green is the official lawn service for my community. They won the bid because they are the cheapest. About four months back, I came home early and parked in my parking space. The lawn company was blowing the wet grass. As they saw me pull in, they proceeded to blow the wet grass onto my car. I got out and told them to stop. They ignored me. The truth is I am not sure they spoke English. I then moved my car to a guest parking space located in a different section of the property. After getting my mail, I noticed they again proceeded to blow grass onto my car. Obviously, I was upset here, you would too. I asked for the owners name and they ignored me again. At this point I started yelling (again you would too) I moved my car back. Now I had we grass stuck to my car and I had to go and get it washed. It was a big inconvenience. See the attached photos. After speaking to my association, they gave me the number to Staying Green. I left numerous emails and phone calls, without a return. Finally on the fourth call I spoke to Steve. Of course, he said he was getting ready to give me a call. Honestly, Steve seemed like a nice guy here. He was very understanding and apologetic for the situation. As a goodwill gesture, he offered me a car wash. While it wasn’t necessary I accepted it. Of course, the gesture was hollow. After a month, I emailed him a friendly email just inquiring. He said he was out-of-town and would do it when he returned. As of today, still nothing. The last email, he stated that he left me a car wash coupon/voucher immediately the day after we talked. This contradicts his last email of him that he was going to do it when he got back in town. In all the years I have lived here, I have never had anything removed from the front of my door. It is obvious he did not do anything. Regardless, it is not about a $10 car wash. It was about a make-good gesture by what I thought was an honorable person. It turns out Steve and Staying Green do not care about the clients they service. The moral of the story here is think twice before hiring them. You have many choices. Choose one that will not only do a good job for you, but who will be there when unfortunate circumstances may arise. Feel free to respond with your email and I will contact you directly. Thank You

Bernard Blackburn visited us several times to discuss ideas for our backyard. Compared to everyone else that came by to quote - Bernard was by far the most knowledgeable and the most passionate about his work.
The design he proposed was over our budget and frankly too nice for our backyard! We ended up going with something much simpler and less expensive - but no reflection on Staying Green.
