AC Inspection costs more than many other providers on Angie's List, $85.00 vs $40 or $50 elsewhere. Technician appears to know what he is doing, but tends to overcharge for parts in a big way. We were charged $120.00 for a part that took 5 minutes to install and that sells in the marketplace for about $40.00. When questioned about it, the owner of the company stated that he reserves the right to mark up parts as much as he sees fit to be adequately compensated for sharing his expertise with customers. So buyer beware, you will probably be charged for labor plus a huge mark up on parts. Apparently, it's not like when you have your car repaired, you know the cost of the part and the cost of the labor, it's on the invoice for all to see. Here, the Company switches between charging for time spent vs flat fees whenever it chooses and on the same service call. It's not fair, but that's the way it is when using SNC Air Conditioning. The owner makes no apologies for the practice and states that others in the industry do the same thing. Perhaps more regulation is required in billing practices among certified air conditioning technicians. The industry obviously does not police itself. Why should it? It's got a gold mine the way it charges the public right now.

A/C did not blow cold air. The outside electrical unit needed to be replaced.

One of the best experiences I've had with a contractor of any kind in South Florida. Scott provided an estimate quickly, researched units that would fit in the limited closet space I have in my older house, found a solution that was remarkably affordable, and did the work himself on schedule. He's the best I've found in the mine ridden field of AC installation/repair here in South Florida.

This was a difficult installation in an older home which needed a lot of planning. A complete measurement and evaluation was done by Scott and recommendations made on couple of systems. All work was completed on schedule and was EXTREMELY neat even though there was a lot of masonry demo that had to be done. The new system works beautifully and was sized perfectly for the home. He also guided us through a number of energy and tax rebates available to us. He works side by side with his wife on the installation. A true small family owned business with old fashioned personal service and exceptional knowledge of the trade.

This was an excellent experience. He was very professional, did quality work and did not cut any corners. I would highly recommend him. Small company with excellent customer service.
