+ -1 moreIn the beginning it all seemed fine. It was after they were through that I realized the broken mirror and the defect in the laminate. He promised me he would pay for the mirror and that he would have his men come out to replace the parts of the floor that needed replacing. He never did either one.
Description of Work: On June 2nd, 2008 I gave Sergio Mendez a deposit of $1200.00 to install laminate floors in two bedrooms in my condo. His workmen of which there were 3 upon installation broke the mirror on my closet door, The laminate they installed in my master bedroom was faulty in the finish of the product. The closet door cost me $85.00 to replace the mirror, which he promised to pay me for after I had it fixed, which he did not do. I kept calling him about the mirror after I had it repaired, but to no avail. Before that I gave him the balance of what I owed him. It was a check for $1550.00 To top it all off, He also put in 4 inch molding for me which he did not paint when finished. To me that is an unfinished product. He was paid in full for his work on June 5th, 2008. He has been avoiding my calls. The couple of times he did answer the phone, He promised he would take care of it including the check for the mirror.
