I have been going there for regular maintenance for about 5 years now. If something comes up, I wind up going. They conducted warranty service on a recall. There was no charge. It was a Honda recall so it involved software upgrades to the car. They reprogramed some of the sensors. They follow up, they will contact the customer within 24 hours of completing a repair to check and see if everything was running as expected and everything was done to the customers satisfaction. I would recommend them to a friend due to their level of training. They are very well versed in all of the systems of the Honda brand. So they can handle just about anything that comes up and knows exactly what to do about it as opposed to others.
Description of Work: They had to reprogram the transmission.

I had a problem with them. They damaged a bumper on my car. It didn't go in there like that but it came out like that. They would not even discuss it. They damaged it, 100% damaged it. They wouldn't take any responsibility for it. Now I have to buy a new car. Do you think I feel like going back to Rick Case, no because they did that. 100%, they did that. They scratched it up alot. The front bumper, they had taken it off because it was in there for body work. It wasn't in there for the bumper. They really messed it up and would not admit to it. They were doing work on my car. They asked my husband to bring something, I can't remember why he was over there. He noticed that they had the front bumper off. He said why do you have that off. Why do you have the bumper off. They gave him some stupid reason or maybe they just said it is not yours. When I got the car back and saw that. This car did not come in here like that. I called the salesman that sold it to me. I told him, they damaged that and they are not taking responsibility. I am not going to buy another car from you, if you do not talk to them so they own up to what they did. They did damage it. There is no question about it. That was not like that. The manager would not call me back. The body manager, wouldn't call back, the general manager wouldn't call back. They were very nasty. No call backs. It is not only that.

They have multiple dealerships and so, we have been with them for a long time. I have been going there for like 15 years. When I go for service because I have a Honda, they do everything they need to do to keep my car safe. I don't feel like they have ever taken advantage of me. They keep all of my past records on file and so they know who I am.

Great!. The assistant service manager treated me as if I were his only customer.
Description of Work: Bought my car from them 10 years ago. I've been bringing it to them ever since. They have been keeping in prime shape since then. My AC needed to be replaced. They gave me a free rental. They also did a once over on other parts of the vehicle. They were willing to negotiate on price.

I have been shopping around looking at new vehicles and I decided I wanted to lease a new 2016 Honda Accord. I have only previously gone to Rick Case Honda for sevices to my current cars but I have never had any issues and their prices are great. Furthermore my family has purchased multiple vehicle from them. With a reputation of the #1 dealer in south Florida and in customer satisfaction I was expecting to have the rather enjoyable experience. On 10/6/15 I went to try and make deal that worked out price wise for me. Unfortunately do to the amount of money I still owe on my current vehicle Rick Case told me the couldn't give me near what my car said it was worth on KBB for trade in. After about 2 hours of haggling they did recommend that I take my car to Carmax as they tend to give more on the vehicle. The next day I went to Carmax at about 11AM. The gentleman I met there was great and so hopefully, already quite a different experience then the two men that I met at Rick Case. They did indeed give me a great deal more on the trade in for my car (I would highly recommend them for anyone in my boat, and if I wasn't trying to lease I would have completely got a car from them). The next day I went back to Rick Case and told them what I was able to get, this was at about noon. We then proceeded to haggle again for another 2 hours with one of the sales members (Roger) ( they stated to me they work in teams and there was two that were supposed to handle my deal.) We came up with all options to give me the best deal. Every time I came up with a counter offer the sales guy would walk over to a desk and acting like he talked to a manager and then would BS around with his colleagues. My guess is that this is why the process haggling took so long. If I would have known this I would have just went straight to a manger instead of having to deal with the middle man. However, we finally got a deal. In doing so they stated they would give me a military credit even though it is supposed to be for active military, that because I was a combat veteran they were going to give it to many anyway. Finally at about 3PM the deal was set. Roger who I had been dealing with all day said they car I wanted was ready to go they were to clean it up and I would be out in an hour. This was the last time I saw Roger. 45 minutes after waiting the other sales man (Frank) Appeared. He told me that the color of the car I wanted was not in the price that we agreed on due to additional options and I have to pick a new color. What's crazy is they wait 45 minutes to tell me that they haven't even started on the process, that now we have to go back to square one. We then went to go look at other vehicle color options in the car I was "supposed" to be getting. What was worse is that Frank was thinking the car we were in was an entirely different model the whole time. When Frank came back he talked to the manager and realized that the vehicle we were in was the car I was supposed to get and they wasted another 20 minutes of my time. Frank never apologized but rather said to me "So we are gonna be able to give you the color you want". Sounds to me like he was trying to cover up and not admit his mistake unaware that I knew and overheard the conversation. At 430PM, 30 minutes past when Roger told me I would be done, Frank says they are doing the paperwork and it should be any minute before I talk to the finance guy. An hour later after waiting and continually asking Frank as he would walk by not updating me, almost avoiding me the finance guy finally comes out. Once we sit down he shows me a tag and says this is yours, Even though is specifically stated I did not want a new tag that its cheaper for me to transfer it. When we start the paperwork the gentleman asks for my ID for the military discount. I told him I no longer have a valid ID but I have my old expired one as I am no longer active like I disclosed before. Skipping the run around he tells me in short that they cannot give me the discount because it is not for veterans its only for active military and that its not "their" rules its Honda's. Regardless of the discount they should have told me this 4 hours prior instead of me sitting around waiting based on something they had promised me. I told the Gentleman since Honda won't honor it why won't Rick Case honor it, but the manager said no. At this point after spending 6 hours I just walked out. The Next Day I then got an email thanking me for leasing a new car from Rick Case. Clearly a lack of oversite from the company as I did not purchase anything. I also received a phone call at about 10AM from a customer service lady. I told her I was upset with the performance, I wish to speak with a manager, assuring one would call me back. At 1pm after not hearing back from a manager I again call and this time she directs me to the line where I leave a message to call me back. AT 5Pm still not hearing from a manager still but Mr. Frank calls me saying he has good news. I told him I'm no longer interested in making a deal I just want to talk to a manager, and he assured me one would call back immediately. At 630PM in the middle of my dinner a supervisor finally called me where I could express my concern, he listed without any real solutions and stated the GM would call me the following day. However two days later i have still not heard anything. Whether or not the do anything to fix this issue, i don't know. Maybe at one point in time Rick Case was truly a great place to shop, but the lack of leadership at the top, down to sales at the bottom shows the experience I had was not just a few bad sales guys but was a representation of the poor management and professionalism of the entire business. I would strongly urge people to consider looking at any other dealer before having to do business with them. While I can not speak for all the other customers that came in and out while I was there, but even the ones that bought new cars did not seem to be enjoying the business and service Rick Case was providing. Furthermore I was able to speak with a relative who just bought a new car 3 months ago from Rick Case Honda, had a very similar experience, described to me as worse then getting teeth pulled. He stated he would never go back there for another vehicle.

This is the second time I have purchased a car from Rick Case Honda, and both times Camilo Cortes has been my salesman. He has made my car buying an easy and stress-free experience. The first time I purchase a new Pilot off the lot, it has been a worry free vehicle for my family and I, but the kids have now grown and I had my eye on something sportier. I told Camilo what I wanted, make, model, features, color, and price. He located the vehicle at another Rick Case dealership in Georgia and had it shipped to the Honda dealership in Davie, FL. Camilo even went in to work on his day off for me to make sure everything was went smoothly at delivery. I love my new car and I am so happy to have Camilo at my side, working hard to make my car buying a great experience. If you stop by, ask for him, you will be glad that you did!

We went to Rick Case to purchase a new Accord. We had done research previously, but the salesman was very helpful. He took us through various models and colors, and we ultimately selected a model that was not in the relatively large stock at hand. The quoted price seemed quite reasonable. We have used auto brokers in the past, but we wanted to look at actual cars, and if the cost was within $1000 or so wanted to buy directly from the dealer since it's only fair to reimburse them for the expense involved in maintaining a physical site. However when we went to sign the contract, all sorts of charges were added. We had dealt with stuff like this years ago before - this is why we started to use auto brokers - but I expected better of this particular dealer. It was unpleasant, high pressure, and quite time-consuming. My spouse wanted to conclude things so we did not walk out, but I estimate this cost us about $1500 to $2000. We realized later how little care was taken for customer-friendly details. Here is one example: one might expect even a small automobile dealer to know that it will cost the customer about $150 extra to order a new plate rather than transfer the old one, but Rick Case automatically ordered a new plate without offering or discussing the option. When we picked up the car a week later it was all business. There were no warm greetings, no and quot;do you have any questionsand quot; - not much but and quot;here's your car and we're busy.and quot; We will use another dealer or an auto broker next time.

I love going to Rick Case Honda for my service needs. They always do such a great job and I feel the price is always fair. People seem to have the perception that going to the dealer is more expensive than going to other repair shops, but I personally would never take my car (a 1997 Honda Del Sol) ANYWHERE else. I made the mistake twice in the past of trying to take to other (non-dealer) places in the past, and both times it was a fiasco. The one repair shop outright lied and told me that the noisy a/c belt that needed tightening was in fact my timing belt needing to be replaced and they wanted $400 to replace a timing belt on a car that only 40,000 miles at the time. I'm not a car mechanic, but even I know that is WRONG. I took it Rick Case and only told them the engine was making a noise to see what they would say and they tightened the offending belt and didn't charge me a thing. The other time I made the mistake of taking my car somewhere else, I had gotten a coupon for a and quot;freeand quot; oil change at a tire place in exchange for donating blood. I took my car to the tire place when it opened at 7AM on a Saturday morning, I was only the 2nd customer there. I waited nearly 3 hours and my car was still not and quot;doneand quot;, in fact, it was on a lift with all the tires removed. Now, again, I am no mechanic but who takes the wheels off to change the oil!!! I complained to the staff and when the manager came out to speak to me, he claimed that my rear brakes were and quot;shotand quot; and that they needed repair ASAP for a cost of $400. I smiled and said thank you for letting me know, but I only have dealerships work on my car and that I would be taking my car down the street to Rick Case to have it checked out. He quickly became panicky and said and quot;Well, we're not responsible for anything that happens if you leave here without the repairand quot; and I pointed out I had driven 20 miles there to have the oil change just fine and that Rick Case was only a mile away. Mind you, I had not had any issues with my brakes nor had they made any noise prior this incident. I took my car to Rick Case immediately and only asked that they check the brakes, specifically the rear brakes, again not giving any details about what I had been told by the tire shop. They came back and said the brakes were fine, no issues and I had plenty of brake pad left on BOTH front and back and they should be good for some time. Again, NO CHARGE. I told the staff what happened at the at the tire shop and they just shook their heads. So my point is that Rick Case Honda will NOT do work on your car unless you NEED it. No fake repairs, no BS, just good honest, fairly priced repair work. My 1997 Honda Del Sol has over 210,000 miles on it, original engine, etc., and it looks and runs GREAT. People try to buy it from me all the time but I love it so much. I give a lot of credit not only to Honda for making a quality car, but also to Rick Case for maintaining it so well. I've been taking my car their since I moved to South Florida in 2002, and I will continue taking it there!

They are very good, indeed. Although my car is 10 years old and it had about 70 thousand miles, I don't think the transmission should go at 70 thousand miles. I did get some discount from them but it is still a very hefty bill. They are excellent apart from that and I can't talk bad about them. The service they did so far is that it's working. The car came back and they did it on time. They did everything they said. I have taken in for servicing before and they are very quick and efficient. Rick Case was okay and they helped me out. They gave me the name of the Honda guy who was dealing with claims. I was trying to get the guy to pay for it and he would only give me 25 percent. Dealers aren't known for the best pricing. Everything they have done so far for me has been good. They are very professional.

We recently arrived from Germany and took our Honda Civic in for routine maintenance. The minder indicated that we still had 30% remaining before needing an oil change. I only use Mobil 1 Synthetic in my automobiles and did not ask them for an oil change. I had replaced my wipers with $22 Bosch blades only two months prior to shipping the car over from Germany. Without asking, they changed the oil (didn't need it) with conventional motor oil and replaced the new wiper blades with cheap blades that squeak and streak. We called several times to check on the status and request that they did not perform the above services and the calls went unanswered. I will service my cars elsewhere.

They said the car would be done in two weeks, it was more like a month. The service advisor never called when he said he would. I finally went there to pick up the car when he said it would be done, without calling first, and it still wasn't done and the service advisor was off that day! Then they told me that I wasn't supposed to pick up the car until they called me to say it was done. I would never go there again. The actual work done on the car was OK but not great.
