I will continue to use them for my services

The service calls are always $85.00. It took a long time for them to get all the parts together because I guess it's a refrigerator but it had a lot, so apparently, it must be an old refrigerator so it just took a lot of time to get everything together. I would continue to go to them.

They've really increased the cost. I really don't know if I'll continue to use them. I've been looking around. I pay $45 every month, and anybody that comes out, it's a hundred bucks each time. I'll probably more than likely stay with them. It's the pricing they could do better.

They don't cover most claims so they are not going to pay out. The  second thing is that they send out people who have not been vetted properly because I had someone that came out took money from me and received money from them yet didn't provide the service. What they told me was that I would have to take legal action against the person because they had nothing to do with the people they send out which makes no sense because they are the ones who tell them to come to our home. If you're referring someone, you should at least vet them. It takes a long time for them to actually send someone out for a claim. The average turnaround time I would say is one or 2 weeks to actually get someone out for something that needs to be repaired. They lock you with the contact and you can't cancel them until you've completed the full year unless you want to pay for all the repairs they have done. I'm not going to use them again. They never actually come out and do anything, they send out representatives. They don't call back people either.

Call placed to company and claim stated on 10/15. The warranty company set up services with Palmetto Plumbing in Dazell, SC. This company did not have a working number. We had multiple no call no show appointments with this company. The company came in the home and told us  the refrigerator needed a relay and defrost heat. A second company came in after the fact and expected the refrigerator and reports nothing was wrong with it.   Palmetto  also preformed other shady acts and then decided that they were not going to do the repairs after they received the deductibles. The warranty company did nothing and continue to send Palmetto more customers. I call in to the warranty company multiple time during this transaction to keep them in the loop of what was going on. I was told that nothing above was unusual about  transaction within their practice. I paid Palmetto $250 for a deductible for a refrigerator and garage disposal and no work was actually provided. This was reported to the warranty company and I was told that they seen nothing wrong with this situation. Claim was not resolved until 12/11/15, when I had to pay another person to complete the repairs.

I have an electrician come in one quarter and he tightens up all the fuse box stuff and stuff like that, makes sure there is no failures. I have, in the spring, the heating and air conditioning guy come in. And then in the summer it's either plumbing or appliance. I think the last time was the appliance guy.
They warranty all the major equipment and if something breaks they replace it for you so you don't have to pay anything for the extended warranty's.
One of the things they tried to fix didn't take so they had to come back. They came back, no charge and they fixed it.

The original hot water heater had an energy efficiency heat exchanger which used waste heat from the AC unit to heat the hot water.  It was an original installation with the existing hot water heater which was installed in 1984 as new construction.   The plumber from MB & S Contractors  that was sent by the warranty company did not know what the heat exchanger was for and ordered a new hot water heater that could not accommodate the heat exchanger.   Despite an ongoing dialogue with at least 6 customer service reps, the warranty company refused to order the correct water heater.   I am well aware that the heat exchanger installation was not covered by the home warranty and offered to pay for the installation charges above the cost of the basic installation.   The company would not return calls or call backs.  Efforts to reach reps at extensions provided by them were unsuccessful.  The water heater sat in my mother's garage for nearly two months until we gave up and had it installed.  The old hot water heater was leaking and gradually failing.  The installation was poorly and improperly done.    The heat exchanger was not capped off and left unsecured on the floor with only the valves from the AC providing protection from flooding.   The platform that was used to mount the old water heater could not accommodate the new one and so it was mounted halfway on the platform and supported by scrap lumber wedged underneath the drip pan.  Neither the cold water inlet nor the hot water outlet were insulated as required by local building codes.  The old hot water heater was left the attic because my mother could not afford and additional $300.00 to have it removed.   The end result is that my mother has lost the energy savings of the heat exchanger and received a poorly installed hot water heater.

They are pretty prompt and thorough.  My realtor recommended them.  The plumber came out and they're pretty amicable with people.

I was very happy with the company. We were expecting that we would get some good work out of them and it came out even better than we expected. He took the time to do things the right way instead of rushing to get it done.
