BEWARE This company is a scam. They charged a $165 service charge, $195 to backflush the unit only to tell me the air coming out of the vent is 74 degrees. To fix the unit I will need to pay an additional $800 to acid wash the unit. What did I pay $360 for! What a complete ripoff.

They were clean, quick, gave fair pricing, administratively they were extremely organized and well managed. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Especially for downtown Miami living, I live on the 44th floor of a high rise! My building can be difficult but they had the permits pulled and completed the work within 2 days. Great company!

Overall Quality Air is a great company there was some miscommunication at first but they resolved all of our issues gave us a deal that no one could beat by far and our AC unit is running great in the Florida heat! It has been in the mid to high 90s and our new 5 ton unit has kept it at 74 just like we like it. It also goes below 74 if we wanted it to we could push it to 70. We dealt with Raymond who was very helpful, friendly and professional. He always answered the phone or texts and gave us everything we asked for and more. Quality Air will always be the company we recommend and call when we have any issues 10/10

Living in the Cooper City area, I utilized Quality Air Conditioning Company for both my home, as well as business. The relationship goes back almost a decade. Never a problem – never an issue. And its been everything from servicing what I had, to a new air conditioning unit at work. Following a move to Vero Beach last year, it was – apparently – time for a new air conditioning system. After obtaining a few estimates from “local business,” I decided to call Quality Air to see if they would make the trip north. Turns out they were willing to not only travel but were the least expensive and most competitive of four estimates. So much for supporting local business – I gave this replacement job to a company that was not only trusted, but one I had dealt with for years. The old air conditioning system (downstairs/upstairs) were 3-ton 10 SEER units and almost 13 years old. Serviced 3 times in just under a year, it was time for new units. New units were 3.5-ton 16 SEER Carrier split units with all the bells and whistles. They included everything from UV lights for mold protection to surge protectors and time delays. Quality Air would completely replace the old system with a new one and take away all the trash. Quality Air sent 2 trucks and 5 service personnel for a job that I was told would take 6-8 hours. Polite and knowledgeable staff – they finished the job in just under 8 hours. Replacing both units and thermostats, they even cleaned up after themselves and took away all the trash. The new Carrier units are much quieter and more efficient than the old air conditioning units. My home feels cooler and the air seems “fresher” if that makes any sense. I have also noticed a substantial drop in my electric bill, with each of the last 3 bills being about $115.00 less than before I changed the units out. 5 stars to Quality Air Conditioning Company. I appreciate that they were willing to make the drive north from Fort Lauderdale for an old customer who thought of them in a pinch. William E. Lewis Jr. Vero Beach, Florida.

I just think their price was higher than it should have been, but I was desperate though we went with them. I would like they just make sure the price is right. I would not use them again.

When they couldn't come, I called a plumber who came right away and fixed the problem for about 20% of what I would have been charged. He opened the AC unit and it showed bird droppings all over the coils and in an area that was at the top. He asked if I paid for a new unit and I got the receipt and also their websites clearly states that they only use new, and I was told, well you got a used unit. He showed me the coils fused way beyond what could happen in 2 years and showed all the bird dropping and told me that it must have really smelled when they first turned it on, (it did)
I called Quality Air and asked to talk to the manager. I understand that a workman could have had used parts in the truck and that the manager didn't know. My thoughts were that it was too late to rectify that and they should make a price adjustment from the nearly $4000 I paid.
The manager screamed at me and carried on with great drama. He just started yelling which indicated that he not only KNEW about this sort of thing, but was involved in it. What a moron. In all my 35 years as a very successful sales trainer, he was comically the most ignorant person I ever saw in action.
He actually said to me, when I was trying to explain something to him, "If you try to talk, I will only talk over you"
My salesman was so nice, but do not do business with this company, not only is it not reputable but the manager will not make things right, and while hard to imagine, he'll make it worse. He needs to be fired.

I  have used their service since 1993. I have an agreement with them to come every 6 months to check the unit to make sure it is running properly.  They are very responsive.  They are nice and have a great service crew.  They know their business.  They do a good job.  I call them because I know they will be honest and do a good job.

His staff must be highly incompetent and unknowledgeable about air conditioning.  He kept sending out different men each time who each came up with a new "solution" which cost me like they had an annuity from me.  The unit they installed was less than 5 years old.  Finally, I realized they just wanted to keep taking money from me and then they finally said I needed to buy a new unit so they could make thousands off of me there too--after costing me $3600 over that year.  I was at my Accountant's office and asked him for a recommendation.  Within seconds of entering my house, that recommended company knew what I needed all along--a circuit board for $500.  It's been several months and I have finally had no problems.  With (SUB) Quality Air, they would have led me to buy a new unit from them and charge me monthly for a maintenance contract too!
I was even paying a maintenance contract with them to begin with!
I was undergoing radiation at the time, and I had to pay several times to stay in a hotels to have access to air conditioning.
Their response time was sometimes as long as 3-4 days before they would get back to me.

When I called yesterday, they offered to send someone out this morning.  Unfortunately I had a doctor's appointment, so they scheduled the call for this afternoon between one and five.  They called about twenty minutes in advance to let me know the repairman was on his way.  Robert was very courteous and competent.  He explained what he was doing and why.  He answered all my questions and worked very efficiently. When he left, my AC was operating quietly again.

Robert from Quality Air came to fix the A/C, explained to Robert that we have had problems with the Transformer before. He spent about 30-45 mins. investigating the problem, first said the voltage was wrong on the A/C system. In the end the transformer was the problem, as I told him when he arrived. Also had to go in and out multiple times because he had not brought the correct tools. Fixed the transformer, was paid, left. 1 hour later the A/C stopped running, I checked it, he had not plugged the condenser pump back in, so it over flowed on to the Oak floors and flooded the closet.

My (water cooled) A/C stopped working so I called them up. The service guy analyzed it and told me it wasn't getting any water, so he checked the pump and said it had no electricity. He told me to call an electrician to fix that problem before he could diagnose the unit. He was about to leave and I said wait - let me turn the A/C on, then check the water pump again. Sure enough when I turned it on the pump came on. So he checks the unit again and tells me the compressor is dead. I knew it wasn't working as we had no cool air, just a fan. He said it's $1,900 to replace it, but as the unit is several years old I might be better off replacing the whole thing - about $5,600. So I called another air conditioning company, an Angie's list top company and who I highly recommend, and told him the unit was shot (per the other guy), and how much for a new one? He looked at it for 10 minutes then said "your problem is this here capacitor - it's bubbled on top and needs replacing". So for $170 plus a half hour labor HE FIXED IT! Also, the guy from Quality was rather rude. He acted as if I should know how everything works and have a clue about what's wrong with it and why. Turns out, I knew more than he did. Some people either just don't know how to communicate effectively, or it's a method to make you feel bad and buy what he's selling ('cos you're just stupid). I don't know why I called these guys in the first place, maybe because their name was on the unit and didn't know any other company - it'd just be taking a shot in the dark. Several years before, after I had bought the house, the unit quit working. I called Quality A/C and their guy could not figure out why, and as the house was rented and it was hot out I just ordered a new unit for over $4,000. Didn't fix it. So I replaced the water pump (myself). Didn't fix it. Then I discovered a check valve on the pipe leading to the well. I replaced it. I FIXED IT(for $40)!!! There was nothing wrong with that older unit. I always thought if you call a "professional" company they would have a clue. Unless....they're just TRYING to sell you a new unit. I can't believe I called them again; I guess I forgot about the earlier experience. But my new experience with them reminded me and brought it all back. And this was why we got on Angie's list - desperation to find a good service company, and boy did we find one. I had a very good experience with Expert Air and will use them again. I highly recommend you do not even try Quality Air Conditioning Company. The name betrays their philosophy. I'm going to try and get the service fee back now. Will update Angie's List when the time comes.

Whenever I have a problem they try to get out here as soon as possible to fix it. They usually get her that day or the day after. I think they are fairly priced.

Generally it went well. Originally called in as an emergency call, we were told that I would need to call it in at 8am the next morning. We propped up the unit with a 2x4 which worked for the time. When I called the next morning they seemed to expect that I had made an appointment with the man the night before. Made an appointment and a service man arrived to tell me that installation team service persons would have to do the job and that I would get a call in 15-20 minutes to set up the appointment. After waiting for two hours I called and got an appointment. for the following Monday (due to holiday). On Monday, I got call that the workmen had called in sick so rescheduled the following morning. Tuesday the servicemen arrived by 9:45am and fixed the problem. They were very clear about the work and performed it professionally. Hope it holds!
