They are absolutely fraud.. the owner, ken uses so called technicians from nowhere who perform a poor service, get authorization for replacement of units from home warranty and then try to repair the unit (instead of replacing) with fraction of cost and significant higher out of pocket cost to customer. They also create more problems for their future work and ongoing services.. DO NOT WORK with them
Response from QUALIFIED SERVICE SYSTEMS INC
"This homeowner has a home warranty plan. His home warranty co. authorized a repair of the condenser coil. We never received any authorization to replace any coils or equipment.... Just a repair of the coil. Everything was covered under the warranty co. policy except the charges for refrigerant above the policy $10 per pound cap. I spoke at length with the customer and even reduced the charge. He simply did not want to pay for the refrigerant. So I advised him to have his home warranty assign another company that will put refrigerant in what he feels he should pay. Our technicians are all licensed with several credentials...well above industry standards. No services were performed. Just simply a diagnosis. As far as the accusation of fraud is concerned..is the fact that a landlord would allow his tenant to go without a/c in this heat just because he doesn't want to pay for the refrigerant? I felt so bad for his tenant. She was a really nice lady. From what I gathered from our conversation...He is just simply cheap."

I had a very bad experience with Ken the CEO of the company, he called me a liar over the phone and was very very racist about people not from the USA. I do not recommend this company for any work being done
Response from QUALIFIED SERVICE SYSTEMS INC
"This customer has a contract with a home warranty co. The Contract was less than 2 days old. The A/C system had several pre existing failures due to years of neglect. His home warranty co. denied the claim. The customer wrote this review on 7/13...and yet after the claim was denied...he called us back on 7/15 and requested a quote for a new a/c system and a link for financing options. So why would this customer want to do business with a person they previously claimed was a racist and who claimed they were called a liar? I think the customer is confused."

Today 2022-05-14 we opened a service request for an AC issue. AHS then had QSS (Sunrise, FL) visit for a "service". The tech called me after 10AM and stated he had the part (blower motor)in his truck to make the repair today 2022-05-14. He then showed up 90 minutes late, took pictures, disabled the thermostate LED and leaves with only a "good day". QSS then texts that the part will take a long time. What AC company does not have Carrier parts in their warehouse? Then QSS makes baseless accusations of tampering and tells me they will tell AHS to find me another contractor. Completely unacceptable. AHS customer service hangs up on me. AHS cannot be trusted. Buyer beware.
Response from QUALIFIED SERVICE SYSTEMS INC
"No services were done for this customer... This service call was transferred to another contractor due to the customers rude attitude toward the staff. We received $0.00 from this customer. All fees if any were paid by the customer directly to his Home Warranty co."

Horrible - complete botched diagnostic. Home Insurance hired these Jokers and they did not even look at the A/C machine. A guy called Ken was completely unprofessional and mediocre. This company is riddled with bad reviews across the internet so do yourself a favor and find another company.
Response from QUALIFIED SERVICE SYSTEMS INC
"Home Warranty customer with limited coverage. We do not write the policy...Claim was denied."

Ken was great, fast, knowledgeable and efficient. I really appreciated his help. Although I am still not any further ahead of the game as it was passed off to a TRAINE rep he did solve my other problem of putting refrigerant in my 1 working unit :)

I have a bi-Annual Maintenance contract for my two air conditioning units with American Home Shield.  They assigned Qualified Systems Service to perform the scheduled maintenance.  Qualified Systems Service dispatcher made an appointment for May 20th between 10AM and 1PM.  At 2PM I called to ask where the technician was..... that I had taken off to be at home.  The dispatcher apologized and stated that one of the technicians called in sick and someone from QSS should have called me to rescheduled.  I agreed and she rescheduled the appointment for May 21st (today) between 10AM and 2PM.

The Technician informed me that he doesn't maintain attic units in the summer because it's two hot.  Since I my contract with
American Home Shield was for the maintenance of both units in my house (including the attic unit),  I refused his service  to do half the job and informed American Home Shield who dispatched another company (Just In Time AC) who did an outstanding job on both units.

Response from QUALIFIED SERVICE SYSTEMS INC
"We informed the homeowner that we only maintain units in the attic in the summer time on a first stop basis. This way the attic is much cooler and a much more reasonable work environment for our technicians...This will allow the technician to spend the time needed to do a thorough preventative maintenance on both systems. Being that the customers air conditioners were cooling and functioning at the time and that this was just a simple preventative maintenance...We figured there would be no harm in rescheduling the call.... Apparently the homeowner thought otherwise.... Had we known the units were in the attic.... Perhaps things would of would of worked out better for the homeowner. Unfortunately there are some situations which can't be avoided...We strive to always do our absolute best and to make every customer happy.... at a fair price.."

We called Qualified because we have used them in the past with very good results. The a/c stopped in the evening and I placed the call to Qualified. They responded that a technician would be at our house the next morning. Ken from Qualified called at 9:00 am and said he would be here in 15 minutes. He arrived at 9:20 and went straight to work troubleshooting the problem. In 5 minutes he found the capacitor had failed. Ken had the part on his truck and had it installed in about 15 minutes. Once he started the system we had cold air again. He checked the freon pressure and did an inspection of the compressor unit before departing.

Quality told our home warranty company that we had a leak in our AC copper lines under the house. This caused the home warranty company to deny coverage for the repair because our contract did not cover repairs of items for which they do not have access. We had to hire two other AC companies to get a 2nd opinion to prove to our warranty company that our copper lines are simply buried under a couple of inches of soil, NOT running under the house. The other companies also used a special freon leak detection tool, which proved there was NO refrigerant leak in our copper lines. They found we had a refrigerant leak in the evaporator coil in our air handler inside the house. Our home warranty company finally sent another contractor who confirmed these findings, proving that Qualified's diagnosis was incorrect. All of this took 2 weeks to prove that Qualified had made the wrong diagnosis, causing our family to go 17 days without air conditioning in late Aug/early Sept. Not only that, but Qualified had told us in early Aug. that our AC was working fine without ever inspecting the evaporator coil. I strongly believe the home warranty company wanted to get out of having to replace our air conditioner, so they sent Qualified to tell us it was okay, without performing a thorough inspection. If you have a home warranty and they send Qualified Service Systems, BEWARE!!
Response from QUALIFIED SERVICE SYSTEMS INC
"Customer had limited coverage with her home warranty co. We have been serving this customer since 2004....all of a sudden since failure was due to an uncovered item... we became the bad guy.... I wonder why 2 other companies had to come out after us? Guess they finally got the diagnosis they were looking for."

"We advised (deleted member name) that the leak was UNDERGROUND.....not under the house... we did advise her that it is common for refrigerant lines to leak when burried and UNDERGROUND.... we did use a refrigerant leak detection tool and it gave us enough reasonable cause to believe the leak was UNDERGROUND We advised that we would have to do a NITRO ISOLATION PRESSURE TEST to confirm..........this test would take atleast 2 days...(deleted member name) DECLINED....."
