PLUMBING BY BOB

After the first visit the toilet continued to run all day. I called and didn?t hear back from them, but the plumber came to my home and worked on the toilet again. The first time he replaced the flapper and the second time he replaced the pedestal in the toilet tank. A couple of hours after he left, at about 7 pm, I checked the toilet again and I could hear it running before I opened the bathroom door. I called again and left a message stating I was still not happy with the work and the toilet was still running. I called them this morning to ask them what was going on and what they would do to fix the situation. The owner of the company is not a plumber but said he would come out to look at the problem with the plumber. I paid $90.00 for the service call and $46.00 for the pedestal. I've decided at this point that I'm going to have another company work on my toilet.

My water heater was about 16 years old and need to be replaced.Bob was very knowledgable when he came and assessed the problem. He came within an hour of my call and was very professional. He changed the water heater the same day; although it took long than i had anticipated, he did excellent work and cleaned up when he was finished.He even fixed my toilet free of charge! I highly recommend Bob!

Matt came to remove old tub and fixtures and he did so in a timely manner. When he returned to install the new tub and fixtures the work was done quickly and accurately. He was very friendly and professional.

They were very professional. Matt was very helpful and professional. He called and actually came before the scheduled time. He explained the problem, told us what needed to be done and did it very quick. Hopefully, I don't have to call a plumber anytime soon but if I do I would definitely call Plumbing by Bob again.

I have had a very good experience with Plumbing By Bob. They are very reliable and they always get the work done right the first time. They are very prompt and professional. They are not the cheapest place out there, however I pay for the quality work.

I purchased the toilet from him and hired him to come out and do the installation as well. It is a small family run business. He has extremely good customer service. If I were to call him up with a problem he would come right out to help me. He is very understanding and trustworthy. He is one of the few contractors that I would leave in my house alone. He is very responsive and prompt.

I called them at 4:30 PM on a Friday to check out the leak. They charged $100 for after-hours service, and said they could be there at 6 PM. At 4:45 PM, the called me to confirm that someone would be there in 30 minutes. The plumber arrived and by the time I got there they had started the job. Although the price was a bit high--the level of service was high and responsiveness too. If you are on the go, like I am and you need someone to do it now, these are your guys.

I have used this company for about 15 years. For this service, I was charged double service call. I felt that I should not have been because they were already at my house. I called the office to talk to them, but did not receive a return phone call from them. I would not recommend this company ever again.

Jose arrived promptly for the appointment to look at the job and after consulting with the office told me the cost. He thought he could get the new filter the same day, but called back later to say it would be the next day instead. Two days later, after not hearing from them, I called Jose, who explained the filter would have to be put on order and he apologized because he thought someone else would call yesterday. He did call with a couple of updates for me while waiting for the filter to arrive, and installed it the day after it came in. Everything was done professionally. I also had a DIY toilet repair task I wasn't doing properly and asked him to take a look, and he took care of that for no extra charge.

Overall they were in and out both times but did not get there at the appointed time. I needed to call as I had taken off work to be there.the second time the tech took 30 minutes and left the area a mess for me to clean.

Plumber responded to my call promptly, showed up at exactly the time stated, performed the work, cleaned up, all within an hour. UPDATE: on 11/19/2012 the disposal was leaking. I called another plumber who had to use a large electric saw to remove the disposal installed by Bob's Plumbing. The disposal was completely rusted and corroded at the top where it connects to the drain. I was informed it had been installed incorrectly. Instead of being attached by three screws, it had only been attached by two, leaving one side totally rusted. I am not a plumber, but from what I was shown, his assessment appeared correct. I was charged $195 for a new disposal (this price also included the installation), in spite of the difficulty to remove the old one. I realize it has been 4 years and even assuming that is a reasonable time for a disposal to last (although the one before that lasted 16 years!), Bob's Plumbing charged me $400, which seems outrageous since the new one (exact same model: Insinkerator) was half that.

I called and left all of my information with the office. Within 30 minutes I had a call back from them. I was quoted $225 to replace the main water valve and was able to make an appointment for the next day. Jose came out and had the valve replaced in no time. He also fixed a leak I had with my garden hose faucet.

The plumber showed up on time. He cleaned the area upon completion. The company is right within the market. Overall, I was satisfied with the outcome.

It was a very good experience. Plumbing by Bob, Inc. was extremely honest, reliable, and did great work. Also, they were great in providing the necessary information I required for my insurance claim. They went over and above to make sure I was happy.

THEY SHOWED UP THE SAME DAY THAT I CALLED THEM. THEY DID A GREAT JOB UNCLOGGING MY BATHROOM SINK DRAIN. THEY EVEN CLEANED UP THE MESS FROM THE CLOGGED DRAIN.

THEY PUT IN A NEW WATER MAIN FROM THE OUTSIDE LINE TO THE HOUSE. THEY DID A VERY NEAT JOB. THEY DID NOT HAVE TO TEAR UP THE STREET OR THE YARD. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND HONEST. HE CHARGED US A VERY REASONABLE PRICE.

I WOULD GIVE THEM THE HIGHEST RATING. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. THEY DID VERY GOOD WORK. IT DID NOT TAKE THEM A LONG TIME TO FINISH PUTTING THE HEATER IN. THEY WERE VERY POLITE.

THEY ARE EASY TO GET HOLD OF. THEY ARE PUNCTUAL, REASONABLY PRICED AND THEY GET RIGHT TO WORK. I DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT TWO WEEKS FOR THEM TO GET HERE, AND I THINK THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. THEY WERE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT COULD FIX IT.
