+ -1 moreThey were more expensive and pretty slipshod. I went to them five or six times during 2013 and part of 2014. I went about every 6-8 weeks. I finally got fed up with them took the action to go somewhere else. They did not follow my instructions and they did not do a good job with the grooming. They were argumentative and unpleasant to deal with. I don't need that in my life at this point.
Description of Work: I used Petsmart. They have grooming services.

Description of Work: I just left here absolutely horrified. I called ahead for an appointment for 2 yellow labd to be shaved to make sure they had time and werent going to be rushed. They assured me they had plenty of time for both dogs. When I arrived, they told me only one dog had an appointment. Then, as I waited while they tried to figure out "who took the call" as grumpily as possible, I heard a small Scottie yelping, then screaming in pain from the grooming station! The male groomer was YANKING at his muzzle with a metal comb. After about the 6th pull, I told him if he did that one more time, I would jump over the wall and proceed to kick his a$$. The entire grooming staff asked " what is that your dog? Why do you care?" To which I replied, " let me tug your hair out of your head several dozen times and see how much you like it. It doesnt matter if its my dog or not, you shouldnt treat ANY dog that way. I dont want you near my dogs, as a matter of fact, you should be ashamed of yourselves. People dont bring their dogs her to be abused!!" The fact that they think yanking at a dogs knots is ok is VERY ALARMING to me- if they have knots, cut them out or use a detangler during the bath- dont yank. And to do this in FRONT of the customers? I can only imagine what they do when customers arent looking! I am sure this dogs owner would be very upset, and I am sorry I did not get the chance to speak to the owner directly. I got the manager and she proceeded to reprimand the staff, and they said "we have has 12 dogs today" inferring they were overwhlmed. She told them she didnt care what their excuse was, this was unaccptable. Her actions don't make me feel any better, because another patron said shes seen the staff abusing dogs before and also refuses to bring her dogs for grooming here as well. The management should not let this go on for this long. I am absolutely horrified. My female lab was acting very out of character, like she didnt want me to leav her there and now I know why- they must have hurt her in the past. This store has definitely lost my business and I hope they lose yours too.

+ -1 moreMy only complaint was her face had a few stray hairs that got in her eyes and mouth but thats all. and make sure to book an appointment as they are very busy.
Description of Work: i took my dog elsa (shizu-poodle) for a trim and a bath here it is a groomers shop in a pet store, the staff were friendly and professional and the area was clean and attractive. My dog got an oatmeal treatment and an all body trim overall my experience was easy and satifactory.

+ -1 moreI took my dog in and we waited for a while. When they groomed my dog, they cut a huge chunk of skin out of his left leg. When I asked them about it, they said that I brought him in like that. They refused to look at his leg and told me it was my problem. I was forced to take him to the vet to get him care.
Description of Work: I took my dog to Petsmart to be groomed.

+ -1 moreI was thrilled to get my dogs back on time and looking great. This was the third groomer I've tried in this area and it was my best experience by far. They groomed my dogs to my specifications though there was a communication error through the person checking the dogs in and the groomer. One of my dog's legs was clipped shorter then the rest but the groomer did an excellent job trying to correct it. The dog still looked great even with one less hairy leg! The dogs were finished when promised and they cleaned up a little mess quickly (one of my dogs was a little excited) without giving me the evil eye!
Description of Work: I had two dogs groomed. I had a full service groom on one dog and a partial groom on the other. Both grooms included nails, ears, clipping, annals and brushing.

+ -1 moreI WOULD SAY OVERALL THIS IS A GOOD PLACE TO HAVE YOUR DOG GROOMED. KEEP IN MIND THAT THE GROOMING IS DONE BY SEVERAL DIFFERENT GROOMERS AND I THINK THEY TEND TO HAVE CERTAIN PEOPLE GROOM CERTAIN BREEDS OR SIZES DEPENDING ON HOW WELL THEY DO WITH LONG HAIRS VERSUS CERTAIN BREED CUTS ETC. SO MY EXPERIENCE AND COMMENTS ARE LIMITED TO POODLE'S BUT ALTHOUGH THEY OVERALL DO A GOOD JOB I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THEIR WORK IS GOOD BUT NOT EXCELLENT. SEVERAL TIMES THE PACKAGE I PAID FOR WAS NOT GIVEN; I THINK BECAUSE THOSE TIMES TENDED TO BE VERY BUSY AND THEY PROBABLY FORGOT BUT STILL. IT HAPPENED MORE THAN ONCE. THEY ALSO SEEM A LITTLE EXPENSIVE TO ME. ALSO TWICE THEY DID NOT PERFORM THE ANAL GLAND CLEANING AND SHAVE. I KNOW WHO WOULD WANT TO BUT IT GOES WITH THE TERRITORY. STILL FOR AS BUSY AS IT IS THEIR STAFF DOES A GOOD JOB AND I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND PUNCTUAL AND THEY DO A GOOD JOB OF FITTING YOU IN. THE GROOMING IS GOOD BUT NOT EXCELLENT.
Description of Work: MY 2 POODLE'S (DIFFICULT BREED TO GROOM PROPERLY) HAVE BEEN GROOMED AND WASHED BY THIS COMPANY SEVERAL DIFFERENT TIMES.

+ -1 moreTHEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY HAVE A VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION. THEY WERE VERY GENTLE WITH MY DOG. HE WAS UNEASY AT FIRST, BUT THEY WERE ABLE TO CALM HIM DOWN. THEY ARE VERY PATIENT AND CARING.
