vcr repair
 + -1 moreI thought they were very polite and professional. They even connected it to a t.v. so that I could see that it was working before I took it home. Also, I was surprised to learn that they gave me a 3-month guarantee on their work. They have been in business since the 1960's. Unfortunately their shop is not right on the main road (State Rd. 7). It's hidden behind a strip mall. Inside it looks sort of chaotic, but I was pleased with the results. If you are looking for a perfect, pristine repair shop, this may not be the one for you. But if you're looking for a place that knows how to repair television, vcrs and dvds, you're in the right place.
Description of Work: I received a Daewoo DVD Player as a gift. After it was connected, it didn't work. I thought it wasn't connected properly. But a cable television man who was in my apartment checked and said there was nothing wrong with the connection. Since it was a gift, I didn't have a receipt so when I tried to return it to Targat they only offered me $24. I refused. I called the manufacturer's Customer Service and they wanted me to ship it back to them at my expense and pay $35 for repair, because they had no local repair service in my area. I found Perfect Televsion on the Internet, and brought it to them for an estimate (no charge for an estimate.) Scott at Perfect TV repair tested the DVD, called me and said it was probably damaged in shipping or at the factory. By now, my warranty had run out, so I had to pay to have it fixed. Perfect Television only charged me $30. If I had sent it to the mfg. it would have cost $35 and I'd have to deal with shipping.
