Ocean Electric is a reputable company. Jeff was responsive to my needs and gave me good advice when I was considering getting a tankless water heater. I benefited from his years of experience as a master electrician and ability to successfully resolve my permitting issues with the City of Ft. Lauderdale"s building department. He is honest and thorough and earned my trust and respect by providing me with outstanding service at a reasonable price.

STOP! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Jeff, the owner, is out to steal your money. I was quoted one number for my electrical work and because of his incompetency and lack of understanding on how to read Building Plans, he kept on adding Change Orders after Change Orders. All in all, he added and additional 4k in additional costs. His work is sloppy and very unprofessional. He likes to stray away from the plans to make his costs cheaper... for example, he didn't want to add the power receptacles so he wanted me to change the plans and go through the city again, which I didn't. He also charged me $500 for "driving to the location" are you kidding me?.... What a piece of work.... Lastly, he failed his Rough Inspection and had to have the Inspector come out 3 times to eventually pass the inspection. He was never available to finish the job because he was always at "another job". Here are some pictures of his work with one of them being a can a paint that his workers spilled on the floor and didn't even bother to clean it up. Probably the worst so called "electrician"
