They are extremely professional and efficient. No frills so the price is reasonable.

You can't find a better crew for a foreign car. I can't say enough good things. I've been going there since '05. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. He advised me to purchase a warranty when I first purchased the car and all the work has been done under that warranty- it's already paid for itself. He's so nice and honest- you won't find anyone better in the area. He looks out for his customers.

I walked out of a BMW dealership earlier in the day. I called this provider and they said, "Just come over now, we're not that busy." When I pulled in the repair shop was packed. They took my vehicle and started working on it within 10 minutes. Joe was helpful, friendly, and seemed honest. After approximately one hour of jovial conversation with employees and customers, I left the business happy and with a plan for the future. The local dealership created a nightmare service failure and MTM was a down home kind of value added experience.

I think this place is a class act. The service was performed on time and within the price quoted, without any need for returns in the past six months. The owner was very knowledgeable about my vehicle issues, answered all questions well, and checked and reduced an inflated part price when challenged.
I thought the price was fair for the service and market. It was about 70% of the dealer quote.
Because this was my first time at this facility, I had specific issues and a range of expected answers prepared on real concerns that I had. I received direct and honest answers to this investigation at every step of the interview. This also saved me significant diagnostic fees or an expensive trip to the dealer.
Keep in mind, I had pretty routine service performed. So it 'should' have gone well. It is more the integrity and performance aspects of the experience that cause me to recommend this provider.

The technician at the front desk did not know how to use his computer and had difficulty writing down what I was asking for. He said Joe would contact me with an estimate for all the work to be done. Since the car is 8 years old, I figured it needed a signficant amount of maintainance.
I returned to MTM Bavaria to pick up my car and pay the bill at the end of the day and the bill was over $1,400. They charged $100 for an oil change - outrageous. They never mentioned this over the phone. Also, they sold me new ignition coils when all I needed was sparkplugs - another $400 down the drain.
I won't be going back. Watch your wallet!

They seem to know what they are doing. The shop is very clean and they seemed knowledgeable. They are less expensive.

Everything went well overall. It was very affordable.

My 1991 Volvo runs well but eventually the speedometer/odometer ceased working. The first shop tried to repair it and failed three times. I took it to MTM Bavaria. They took time to analyze the problem, including checking the dashboard. They removed the entire unit and checked it against another one they knew was working correctly and discovered that actually other elements(warning lights)were also not working. Once that was repaired, they got the speedometer and odometer working as well. It took longer than expected, but the work was successfully completed. Joe stayed in touch with me consistently and promptly. I will continue to use their service.

I had a Volvo which was only 4 years old at the time this incident happened. I took it to a nearby mechanic (Danny's Great Bear in Weston) after I noticed the engine was smoking. The mechanics looked at it and told me the transmission was failing and that I needed a new one. This was the second time this shop gave me expensive news within that past year. I was reluctant to just give them the go ahead without getting a second opinion. I called MTM Bavaria since they specialized in Volvos and discussed the diagnosis with Joe. He thought it odd that a car this age and with limited mileage would require a new transmission. I drove it to his shop and after looking at asked me if the oil had been changed recently. It had - just a day before! Long story short, the Lube Express mechanic put too much oil in causing an overflow. It cost me a fraction to have MTM Bavaria clean the engine. They're honesty and integrity has made me a loyal customer for the past 6 years.

I have used these mechanics for some time now and really depend on them. I am alone now and know little about such things, they are genuinely concerned about my safety and reliability of my car for me. Their prices are always fair, although, for their type of service I would be willing to pay more. I don't recall this last price, but they are both honest and reliable.

They are very efficient and helpful. This was my son's 1999 Volvo and he provided some of the parts but they took the time to explain what they did not only to finish the work but for his future education because of his interest in cars.
