MIRACLES IN WOOD

Contracted for solid wood cabinets, which in the end were veneer.  One bubbled before completion, others are now fading at the corners and scratch easily. Original corner design apparently could not be done, so am left with a large empty space underneath that could have been utilized. In retrospect, there are no "bells and whistles" that would justify the price. The area between the cabinets and the ceiling went unfinished. The bathroom cabinet was the wrong color, so had to be returned.

There was little communication from the contractor regarding the design ramifications, changes and the veneer. He argued at every suggestion or complaint. I did not receive what I wanted or paid for.

I assumed that the person I was interacting with was the person who was going to build the cabinet. Instead, he sent someone else who did a horrible job. I couldn't get ahold of the man I had contact with first. I was very dissatisfied with the work. The owner came back and concurred that it was a terrible job, and he redid the job. They fixed it, but I'm still not completely satisfied with the work.

Dean is really great. He is creative and works well with his clients. I also used him to make all of my bathroom cabinets and will use him for other pieces in my home. His installers are great as well. Dean aims to please and was always available to us on the weekends, which is the only time my husband and I are able to meet with contractors. I am very pleased with the way the kitchen came out and would not hesitate recommending Miracles in Wood to anyone who needs cabinet making/refacing and furniture making (he is going to be making a TV cabinet and huge bookshelves for us).

The renovation of the 4 bathrooms in my house included the fabrication of 4 cabinets and a dressing table. Dean came numerous times to take measurements and suggested very creative options. He was able to adjust the plans for the cabinets so that we could get the storage that we wanted. Everything worked out great and the workmanship and professionalism was the best! These people are "pros". On time, honest, and nice. Excellent quality work. You couldn't ask for anything better.
