It went great.

Overall it was good. They found out the problem, told me what needed to be fixed, didn't add in any extra junk, and completed everything in a straightforward manner.
Overall I've always found Don to be fair and honest. He only fixes what he thinks you really need, unless you push to have certain work done. He's always saved me an amazing amount of money when comparing to a dealership. He's done over an hour worth of diagnostic before for free or a very low price, unlike the usual $100 at a Dealship.

I took my car at 1100 and by 1730 ,it was ready.Great job and he even performed a job that was not in the estimate and he did not charge for it. He rotated my tires since I have to buy two new ones that I am going to do itvery soon with him. I am also replacing my radiator with him when i get the money. You have to wait awhile since he has many good clients but it is worth it.He listen to you and he performs the job. I had been in another mechanic,and they were useless. They don't have the tools he had to find out the problem.

While at another shop for a totally unrelated issue, they decided that my exhaust pipe was hanging too low and so tied it up with a wire hanger until I could have it permanently replaced. Of course this cause quite a noise from from the metal on metal vibrations. I took it to Master Tech to see what needed to be done. The owner took the car for a ride and after untying the pipe, determined that no further repairs were necessary. The car is now running as it was before the other service shop had worked on it. I was there less than 30 mins and charged only a mininal fee. I will definitely return for all other service a repairs.

My wife's care broke down, luckily, near home, and near Master Tech. The transmission had become completely unresponsive and would not go in gear. I had our emergency roadside service tow the car over there. The owner/manager, Don, took one look at it and knew exactly what the problem was and was able to give me a quote on the spot. I went home to consider it and did some Google research. As it turns out, this particular transmission problem is well know and documented with this year and model Ford. By comparison, I found that Master Tech's quote was very fair and in-line with what other people were paying for the same work. It is worth to note, that Don's quote was well below what Ford dealer's were charing for this repair. He also offered me a couple other options, both higher and lower in price, as well as some friednly advice. Ultimatley, we had tha car towed to another shop of a family acquaintence - this just worked better for us at the time. However, I will not hesitate to bring either of our cars to Master Tech for any future needs. By first impression, Don seemed like a fair and honest guy, which is very important when looking for a new auto mechanic.

At the recommendation of an old friend, I called and received a $3000 price from Master Tech and decided that the recommendation meant more than a lower quote. They were able to locate a used engine to fit my car as I couldn't even afford a rebuilt one, and got it sent in within days. The engine was installed the following day and is now operating perfectly. Don at Master Tech is a very decent, honest and competent gentleman who I am pleased to recommend without reservation.
