Our electric bill was very high. FPL came to our house and recommended we have the roof insulated in order to save costs on our electric bill. After calling ~10 other places, Liberty had the best price. They were able to come out the next day to complete the job. Due to an emergency at work the next morning, I had to reschedule the appointment - they were very nice about me rescheduling at the last minute. They showed up the following week on time and worked quickly. We were very happy with their services!
After they had removed insulation and before installing spray foam the installers said the job was impossible. Owner did not come back. They offered no solution. I was stuck with no insulation. I asked if we removed ac ducts would that help. They said yes and I spent $3500 to remove and replace ac ducts. It gets much worse.
Warning - Warning - Warning-Bait and Switch plus theft
After they have started the workers tell you to leave the area due to the fumes and are alone in your house. And they steal from you and hack your computer.
After the installation:
A. We had credit card number stolen and multiple attempts at use our credit card company halted as fraudulent and contacted us.
B. We had a $900 camera stolen,
C. $500 Publix gift card stolen
D. We were notified by Gmail that someone was trying to access our account.
We realized after we paid in full. They had no supervisor on site during or after the job.
The company has not responded to email or phone and we have reported this to the Police.
He got paid over $10,000 and never came back. I have no idea if they even properly installed the foam.
No supervisor was there only the thief/thieves and no one came to verify that the job was completed satisfactory.
Cost of the service was actually $835.00. I had a certificate from FPL for $150 which reduced it to $685.
They were a no-show at the appointed time on the date of service. However, a call to the office (and many apologies) it turned out to be a and quot;miscommunicationand quot; with their crew. They arrived within the hour and got right to work. They were professional, patient with all my questions and performed the job without issue. They were careful about the placement of their hoses and after they were done, they cleaned up around the access point to the attic and were gone.
A couple of weeks later, an inspector from FPL came by and inspected their work. Everything was good. I would definitely recommend them.
NOTE: Those of you with hi-hat lighting, be prepared for leakage of the insulation into the house. It was a minute amount; just enough to be annoying. Wish they had told me about that possibility before they started so I could have moved stuff out of the way or covered it.
Very friendly and courteous crew, went above and beyond and even cleaned up after themselves. What a difference my home is now temperature wise with the proper amount of insulation.
Highly recommended and the price was extremely lower than all other quotes I obtained.
"Member, I would like to apologize and say I am genuinely sorry you are not happy with the results of the work performed by us. We at Liberty Insulation stand behind our work. I know our representative has tried to contact you numerous times, to see if there is a way to fix this issue. I understand he was able to reach you once, unfortunately you were busy. Since then you have not returned any of his calls or emails. We have not even been given a chance to return to your home and see if we can figure out why it didn’t work. We feel your review is premature, since we have neither cashed you check or been given a chance to make this right. Sound can travel through many paths and the answer could be a simple one. On the other hand I understand, when you contacted us, you had already done your research and knew what you wanted. Our sales rep did inform you that there was no way to be sure this would fix your problem. We would like to hear from you so we might resolve this situation."
