This company is the answer to all lampshade problems! They can recover a shade to order. They have lots of good quality shades in stock too. If you take your lamp there, they will help you find the best shade to go with it. My lamp is a very old floor lamp so I did not bother trying to transport it in my car. I wanted a white silk shade exactly like the old one. They took my old frame, reburbished it and gave me back a beautiful shade that looks just like it did 40 years ago.
I had two issues. You must go there because they do not make house calls but their address somehow did not properly show up on my car's GPS. My advice: Get a good description of the location before starting out. I had a naked lamp for 3 weeks; quality work takes a little while.
