Jeff did a great job at our home. He was very neat and was able to get the work done in a quick manner. I would recommend JML for any plumbing needs in the future and I would reuse them again in the future for any plumbing needs for my home.

There was no additional cost besides the "Big Deal." He was very professional and very good. He was honest. He told me exactly what I needed. It was a good service. He left it very clean. It was like untouched. He was on time.

Jeff found a break in the drain line that ran underneath the house. He had to jackhammer through concrete flooring to reach the the pipe. When he realized the extent of the problem he referred me to a company that specializes in underground repairs. I was impressed that Jeff made several followup calls to find out how the work was progressing and make sure that I was satisfied with the company that was doing the work.

this is a one man operation.  he is seems to be using Angie's list to get through the door to find ways to get more work.  we purchased a $120 toilet tune-up AND home plumbing inspection.  He got back to us right away, but he then kept pushing the date to come do the work back for 10 days.  meanwhile, we were going without one of our toilets.  what the deal should list... $120 for a VISUAL inspection with no work done if there is a real problem and no credit given toward a solution.  actually attempting to fix the problem is extra.  there are lots of toilet tune-up deals on Angies list for much less.  if it had just been the price and I misunderstood the deal, I wouldn't have written this.  what I am upset about is the service.  during the week and a half I attempted to get him to provide the services I already paid for, I explained over text that the main thing I purchased for was the home plumbing inspection. 

When I say it was a visual inspection, I mean standing there looking at the toilets and valves while flushing them.  for $120. I can buy a new entire toilet for $79.  the problem toilet would bubble fiercely,  then go down slowly.  I felt it was probably a septic problem, especially since it didn't happen overnight, but over a few days became a little worse each time we flushed, and it was only a few feet from the septic system.  when we purchased the house, we had a septic inspection done, and they told us it was draining a bit slow.  after telling him this, he told me it was a mainline stoppage and he would have to charge $200 just to get on the roof.  no other slow drains or problems in the house, just the toilet.  I asked why he thought it was that, and he made up a couple of hail mary attempts to justify it, completely discounted my theory, and told me if that didn't fix it, he would have to "call in someone else."  great, why did I call you then??  when I told him I would snake it out myself, he became visibly upset, trying to explain to me why snaking the line was beyond my capabilities (too difficult, the snake equipment needed costs over $5,000...).  never offered to snake through the faulty toilet opening, which I did after his "snake through the mainline diagnosis" failed.  after I rented the snake from Home Depot ($50ish), the total cost of his useless visit weighted in at $175. 

two days later the septic, as I suspected and kept telling him, overflowed onto my back patio.  full septic due to bad drain field.  don't make my mistake.  go with a pro.

I spoke with the repairman and set the appointment. He arrived on time. I needed work done on a toilet - not flushing properly, vlave stem cracked. He assessed situation and recommeded replacing the flsuh valve system. I needed to purchase the parts, approx $40. He did have them available on the truck. He replaced the valve and all is working ok now! He was very friendly and polite, did not leave a mess. Would recommend.

Jeff messaged me once I ordered the $119 toilet tune up service from Angie's List and let me know what was covered and wanted to know specifically what had triggered the call.  I mentioned the fill valve was starting to go and that the washers around the tank attachment bolts were falling apart.  He stated the fill valve and other parts were covered but not the bolts and that would cost extra (in the end a very reasonable $15).  The quality of work and parts provided exceeded expectations, I was only expecting the previously addressed items to be done but he also put a new flapper and supply line (swapping the cpcv for braided metal).  Would definitely use this company in the future for work.

He came within an hour of my calling him.  The disposal was only named so he only charged me for the service call.  How nice to fine someone that doesn't rip you off just cause they can.

I am very happy with the work that JML Plumbing has completed in my Kings Point condominium.  I needed a main water shut off valve replaced as well as a running toilet fixed, and contracted Jeff from JML plumbing to do the job.  The work involved removing and soldering new pipes and valves for the main water shut off and replacing a toilet fill valve, supply line, and flapper. Jeff the owner appeared on time and was very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, clean, and courteous.  One of the many things I liked about Jeff was his willingness to explain to me everything he was doing, and his recommendations for the repairs.  On top of all this his price was very reasonable.  I am giving JML Plumbing the highest rating I can which reflects my complete satisfaction.  I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs plumbing work performed in a timely, cost effective, and professional manner.

That service was good and he was good. I did have to spend more money due to part that he recommended. It was a good experience and I would use him again.

Jeff was great. He came when he said he would and was able to use some new parts he had on his truck, allowing me to return the new pieces I bought. It actually saved me money in the end.
