IKE'S CARTER POOL CO

They have been servicing our pool for at least 3 years now. They are actually honest. We are not there, but we know they actually show up and clean the pool. They are reliable, and honest. We pay $95 a month for them to clean the pool.

Work continues to go well. efficient company . Very prompt maintenance.

Perfect in every aspect.  The BEST pool cleaners in 30 years but you do pay up for their perfectionism.  Thanks ok though, its South Floriduh and the competion is horrible. 

I called 5 companies to get quotes.  All A rated on Angies List.  1 company never called me back.  1 company called and said they were too busy to come give me a quote.  3 companies gave me quotes for the job.  Gary Kaplan provided the quote for Ike's.  He seemed very competent and answered all my questions before I asked..  Ike's quote was slightly lower than the other 2 quotes I got for the job, but not enough to make a big difference.  Ike's had recently redone a friends pool and were highly recommended by our friends.  This was my primary reason for choosing Ike's.  Job started two weeks after contract signed, as scheduled.  Gary stayed in touch throughout the job (either visits to the job site or calls) to keep me informed about the job.
Gary met us at the showroom to pick out the color finish and the new tiles.  There are a LOT of alternatives to choose from.  Gary was very helpful and patient.  I didn't want to delay the job waiting for tile to be ordered from the manufacturer.  He checked availability on a bunch of different tiles with his suppliers to help us pick one that we loved and that was in stock locally.  
Job progressed quickly.  Pool was drained.  New tile installed (2 man team, 1 day).  Base coat was applied to pool (1 man, 1 day).  Diamond Brite was applied by an army of guys (I think there were 6 or seven, 1 day).  Pool was filled (water was filtered to minimize issues with metals and minerals in the city water used to fill the pool).
Mike was responsible for fire up of the pool.  Chemicals were checked / adjusted and the pool brushed (daily initially, but tapered off as things stabilized).
Pool looks great.  I think it looks better than when it was new.

They did a good job, but, every time you call you can't talk to a person. You have to leave a message. And it's consistently that way.

The company contacted me for an appt. He came on a Sat because of my schedule. We talked about the scope of work which included a leak repair, tile replaced, and refinish the pool. The price was in line. All went as planned. The work was done well and timely. Any delays were caused by me. They worked around that and were very good about communicating. After refilling the pool, their service department came right out and stabilized the pool, did all of the necessary maintenance. I was impressed by this process and hired them to do my weekly service. I would reuse them in the future.

Overall the repair project went far better than I had hoped at what I consider to be a very reasonable price. The story started with Glen and I chatting about how much chlorine he was adding every week and how much water I had been adding to keep the pool full. We both decided the water loss was far too excessive for evaporation. This conversation set in motion the leak repair process of finding the leak, estimating repairs, repairing the leak and then restoring the brick decking to as close to original as possible. During the entire process, Ike's Carter team of professionals took care of everything in a timely manner and at the estimated cost. Now, the pool isn't leaking, the brick deck where the repair took place looks great, and most importantly the pool looks beautiful.

Ike's Carter Pool Co. is very reliable and does an excellent job on our pool. He comes faithfully once a week and does a very thorough job. I pay him on a monthly basis. This company is well-managed and out to please their customers.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE VERY HARD TO REACH OVER THE PHONE. THEY DID NOT CHARGE AS MUCH WE THOUGHT THEY WOULD. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

THEY COME AND DO THE MAINTENANCE ON THE POOL. THEY ALSO INSTALLED THE POOL FOR US. THEY ARE AN EXCELLENT COMPANY TO GET SERVICE FROM FOR PEOPLE IN THE AREA THAT MIGHT NEED IT.
