Work went badly. Communication with customer service was especially poor; waits of 30-60 min were common. Three months later, cabinets are no longer opening and closing properly.

The place is very clean. They should have more people on the floor. It's easy to find things I'm looking for.

The pricing is reasonable. They have great hours. They always find what you need. Whatever you need, they have and that's good for me. Everybody is pretty friendly. Everytime I go there, it takes a while to find somebody if you have questions. Besides that, it's a great experience. I've been going there for 2 years.

The permit process went very slowly because the subcontractor was unresponsive to the request for additional engineering information on the gates, despite our efforts to communicate what the city wanted from them. They were just unable to take the time to understand what we were telling them. It was as if we were speaking Spanish and they were speaking French. After many weeks, we finally were able to make them understand what the city was requesting.

This was a moderate size project (approx 350 lin.ft.). The fence instillation only took 2 days, which we thought was great. In hindsight we regret though, as many short cuts were identified in the weeks following the project. Gates were installed incorrectly (we made sure EVERYONE knew we were going to build a pool and the fence/gates must meet code requirements for a pool barrier). The rolling gate was installed with only an inch or two of concrete below the track, which cracked and gave away the first time the camper rolled over it. I had complained to them during the installation that the concrete needed to be more substantial with adequate steel reinforcement to handle the load of a motorhome and construction equipment. I was told that it would be OK (we only have fine sand throughout our yard here in S. Florida). There were also areas of the fence which were improperly nailed.
The actual contractor (Fence City/Cabio Construction) did send another crew out to fix one of the walk through gates, but they only made the situation worse (gates were hung improperly).
They city building inspector refused to approve one side of the fence and gates because they were improperly installed to meet requirements of a pool barrier (one gate even opened the opposite way the building code required). All of the gate latches were installed too low to pass inspection.

We have been fighting with The Home Depot as well as the subcontractors Fence City/Cabio Construction for months. Home Depot finally agreed to fix the gates, but completely at our additional expense. But we really don't want this company back of our property again anyway.

Forget any any kind of warranty. All of our problems were brought to their attention within 30 days of the job being completed. We have been in touch with Home Depot as well as Fence City/Cabio Construction multiple times in the past 9 months without response. It's hard to believe there could be so many problems with a simple fence job.

In the end, we had to have another fencing company (South Eastern Fence of Pembrock Pines) come out and make the necessary corrections to the front gates. They did an excellent job.

I have been a huge fan of the Home Depot for many, many years.  I have used them for countless do-it-yourself projects and have always found their in-store associated to be very helpful.  With this in mind I decided to give them a shot at a custom design project involving window blinds in three different rooms.  From this project I learned a value lesson:  Home Depot is great for DIY projects but I would never use them again for any custom design and instillation projects.  I base this comment on the following set of experiences.
1.  Subcontracted interior designer came to my home to complete window measurements and review different materials and develop a quote.  He was polite, professional.  You should know that Home Depot charges you to have someone come to your house for measurements.  They deduct the price from the order, if you place one.  This was in August.
2.  I was very clear about requiring a specific date for instillation.  I travel for work and this is my second home so I needed to coordinate my travel to be in town for the instillation.  I was guaranteed the exact install date I had requested in November.
3.  In early November I was called from a call center in Oregon that advised me the materials I had selected were on back-order and production would not be completed until mid-December.  I again asked for a specific install date in late December to coincide with travel.  They agreed.
4.  Five days for the agreed-upon install I began calling my contact to confirm install date.  No response.  They day before the scheduled install date the person doing the instillation called me to tell me he was on vacation and the install would occur the following week.  The install expert said he would report this to the manufacturer and I should expect at least four weeks for the new blinds to arrive.
5.  I called my contact - the design expert sent to my home by the Home Depot.  His response "sometimes these things happen."
$3,000 for custom work and "sometimes these things happen."
Never again will I use Home Depot for custom work.  Their subcontractors are simply unreliable.
5.  Day before install the instillation expert called and gave me a delivery window.  I advised him that my building has rules and all work must conclude at a specific time.  He said he understood.
6.  Day of delivery he arrived 1 hour prior to the deadline for work in the building.  He was in my unit 45 minutes past the building deadline.  On top of this, two of the blinds did not fit their windows, one blind set did not match the others and the valances lacked end caps

Home depot  at first took order and should have called me 48 hours later after measurements were taken to schedule a final order. No  one even bothered to call me 5 days later. So I drove myself there and forced them to place an order. OK Product arrived on time as it was mentioned in order. I called "AC BLINDS" that Home depot subcontracts to do the placement.. Phone always goes to voicemail and it is impossible to speak to a live person. I left 2 messages and no one called me back.















I tried to contact manager of Home depot but he is never available orhiding behind appointments  so he is either  obviously clueless about what goes on or simply does not care.















NEVER USE THEM . Price is as anywhere else and you will save yourself LOTS OF AGRIVATION and disrespect for LOTS OF MONEY.....

I bought cabinets for kitchen. Paid in full. They measured. 4 weeks later they measured again. Order delivered in 6 wks. They were too big for the room. After multiple attempts, (no one answers the phone at this store) I reached sales guy & said he would order cabinet to fit. He said 2 more weeks. Put installers on hold. 2 weeks later the measure people called again. I was confused. I called the store after multiple attempts i finally reached a manager (Nile). He said no cabinets will be ordered until they measured again and he verified it was their mistake (the walls were already measured twice). Said he would call me back the next day. He didnt call. I tracked him down 4 days later. Said i needed another measure. A week later Nile said i would have to pay $500 more because they didnt make mistake. I tried to review plans with Nile to show him themistake. He refused & kept repeating, "we didnt make a mistake ". Not enough room to tell all. Horrible experience!

It is typical Home Depot. You find your own product and you bring it to the register and they take you up. That is it. Not a lot of help. It is okay. The price is good. They are very professional.

The experience with Home Depot was very smooth. There was no hassle; everything worked my time frame and it is a very convenient service. They were reasonable.

They are an excellent company, their staff is very helpful, and they are convenient to us.

The experience was very positive. The design consultant who helped me went above and beyond to ensure that the entire process went smoothly. She provided excellent suggestions and was always courteous and helpful. They had a sale, so I was able to get 15% off the entire order. Home Depot also has no interest, no payments for one year if you use their credit card for the purchase.

Overall I was very, very dissatisfied, not with the cabinets which they did not make, but with the service provided AFTER the order was paid for. Their attitude is pretty much, ''We are Home Depot and can do whatever we want.'' Managers do not call you back to solve problems and you are pretty much left frustrated until you go away. Buyer beware. If you are going to Home Depot thinking that you will have the support of a big company behind you - LOOK ELSEWHERE. They even tried to charge me for errors made by their installation people.

I BOUGHT THE FLOORING AND THEY INSTALLED THEM THE WAY THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY'S SERVICE. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES WHEN THE JOB WAS DONE.

THEY DID BEAUTIFUL WORK BECAUSE EVERYTHING WAS STRAIGHT AND EVEN. THEY HAD THEM MADE WITHIN THE TIME PERIOD WE STATED. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE FANTASTIC. I REALLY LIKED THEIR WORK. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. THE WORKERS WERE VERY CLEAN GUYS THAT KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY GOT ON THE JOB AND DID THE WORK.

THEY BROUGHT THE WRONG WATER HEATER WITH THEM THE FIRST TIME & DID NOT TELL ME THAT THEY HAD TO BRING IN A NEW WATER HEATER. I WAS NOT SATISFIED & WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

THE WORK HOME DEPOT COMPLETED WAS GREAT. I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THEIR SERVICES TO OTHERS. HOME DEPOT WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS DONE CORRECTLY. I WOULD DEFINITELY CONTRACT THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.

THE GUYS THAT CAME OUT WERE NOT INFORMATIVE. THEY DIDN'T REALLY TALK MUCH AT ALL. THEY DID OK WORK. I WOULD HIRE HOME DEPOT AGAIN BUT I WOULD NOT WANT THE SAME GUYS TO COME BACK OUT. THEY WERE NOT THAT FRIENDLY.

THE WORK THAT THEY DID WAS AVERAGE. EVERY TIME THEY CAME OUT THEY WOULD ALWAYS HAVE TO LEAVE TO GET MORE TOOLS. THEN WHEN THEY CAME BACK THEY WOULD BE BEHIND. IN THE END THE PRICE DID NOT TURN OUT TO BE WHAT WE THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE.

I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK. THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND THEY DID NOT SHOW UP ON TIME. THEY DID NOT CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY QUOTED ME A PRICE OF 100 DOLLARS AND MY BILL WAS 200 DOLLARS.

THEY WERE AN EXCELLENT COMPANY THAT PROVIDES TOP QUALITY SERVICE. THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO TREAT THE CUSTOMER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A GOOD COMPANY TO REMODEL THEIR KITCHEN.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CAME TO DO THE WORK ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY POLITE. THEY DID IT VERY NEATLY AND PRECISELY. THEY DID NOT LEAVE ANY MESSES FOR US TO CLEAN UP. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.
