The wait really wasn’t long, it was probably immediate because I had made an appointment. My first impression was that they were all really nice and informative, and honest. They were just really honest, a lot of mechanics can be dishonest, but they were true to what they were saying.

I live in the neighborhood, within walking distance of Hamill Tire and Auto. Had an oil change and got high quality new tires (which is what I wanted). The staff are exceptional. Everything was done perfectly and they answered all questions, gave recommendations and encouraged me to stop by anytime if I had any problems or concerns. This is my new neighborhood auto service center and I recommend them to all. A+

I haved used them for years and NEVER had anything but a great honest experience

On a suggestion of a friend I took my car in to see why the A/C was intermittent in my car. I got there first thing at 7AM and they were right on time and took me within minutes of opening. They took my information and told me it would take till noon to do the work. At noon they called me and let me know the compressor was failing and that i would also need the dryer repaired as well. They quoted me a price of 684.75 and provided me with an itemized print out of the job. They also made a suggestions that due to the age of the car and it's condition it wouldn't be cost effective to make any repairs at this time let alone the A/C. But that they would be happy to proceed if I wanted. I appreciated their input and unfortunately I had to agree with them. So for a small check up fee of $22 I was out the door. A few week later I attempted to make some repairs on my own and found that I was unable to remove the front driver side tire and i took it back to Hamill tire assuming they were the last to have taken it off. I went first thing on a monday morning and let them know of my situation. Even though they denied having taken the tire off they were willing to put it on a lift an take a look. They informed me that the tire was removed but that two of the tire studs were damaged. I took the liberty of observing the mechanic while my car was elevated and I noticed the mechanic re setting the studs as best he could. This impressed me very much of the initiative they took. The owner discussed the situation with me and as I went to pay he said there would be no charge which impressed me even more. So I highly recommend Hamill Tire if you nee any type of service with your automobile.

Knowing all of my tires were on their way out, I had a flat. Obviously, it was time to replace all four tires. With a busy schedule coming up the next few days, I needed the new tires ASAP. I called Hamill's, they assured me the work could be done that afternoon, and to come in to the shop at my convenience. When I arrived, I was helped right away by Pete Hamill. Since my tires are an unusual size, he had to call two warehouses to locate the right tire. He offered me two choices of brands, and was helpful in making my choice. I had four brand new tires and an oil change done in 3 hours. They are professionals. My Dad taught me the saying, "Do it right, and you'll do it once." That's how confident I feel about my experience at Hamill's Firestone Store.
