Our long distance and international moves are through Allied Van Lines, one of the largest moving companies in the world. We also offer packing and crating by our skilled crewmebers. We have been in business since 1929 when our Grandfather began Griffin moving in New York City. "I can understand your frustation at not receiving your quote. We do need to qualify appointments in certain situations. Our sales person was merely trying to determine if you had enough items to move to qualify for our minimum price. Our minimum can be quoted over the phone and if the price is acceptable, we will provide an in home survey and written guranteed price."
The truck driver and his crew were very careful in their packing. They were courteous, professional and
answered all of my questions while working very diligently. I would hire them without hesitation. There was some problem with the assembling of my desk, however, Allied did respond and handled it within a reasonable time. The crew in Conroe were also very diligent and very careful in the unpacking I would give the movers an excellent rating.At 9:30 this morning, I spoke with the owner and he said he didn't have anyone to dispatch. So now, we have no idea when they will be able to help us move. We're styaing in a hotel and paying extra every day because they have not been abel to fulfill their promise to us.
"Member, I didnt realize that your wifes name was Another Person Deterding Now That I have the name I can respond to this, There are times that the shipment does not all fit into a truck, when going long distance, however in this case the entire shipment was loaded into the same truck, and the shipment was delivered on time. Further more your wife was told at the time of the estimate that we would possibly need 2 days to load the shipment. From my notes you were delivered on time. I can understand your frustration, with the driver being late the morning of the load, however to rate us an F seems a little unfair."
