Once the work was done, I asked if I could pay to have a system put in for a friend of mine. This friend had also been buying purified water from Gourmet water (in bottles) for years. The owner knew the friend. They asked that I pay in advance, since I had done business with them before, and I had no issue with doing this. I wrote him a check for 300.00. They made a few attempt to set an install date with my friend, then just stopped, and finally disappeared with my money. I filed an incident report with the Tamarac police, after chasing him for 4 years, case# TM06-03-00914. I managed to get a call through to him posing as a new client, he showed up, with his partner at my new house in Boca. He promised to pay, as soon as he got back to the office, of course this never happened. Still out $300.00.
Description of Work: I had done business with them for 8 years. They had installed a Water Purification system in my house, and I had called to have them replace filters. Up to this point the services had been fine.
