They did a wonderful job! They also refinished my walk in closet door as well. They did such great work... my wood faux finish looks very real. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

,This is the second time I have used Gold Coast. Richard Klacko and his team did not let me down. I love this company!!!

The painted maple solid wood wall unit was custom designed to my specifications (think Rhode Island, all glossy white, pristine, sturdy built shelves (1and quot; thick), which do not buckle under the weight of tomes, and low under cabinets with flat surfaces whose closures are pressure sensitive magnetic---no handles), After the order placement (one month earlier), it was delivered and installed within three days. After the installation and living with the unit (one week later), It took two call backs to Richard Klacko and his finalizing assistant to make make fine tuning adjustments. This was done with speed and humor. Consequently, after everything was finished and six months later, the wall unit holds boldly true and remains an outstanding presence on eighteen plus feet of a bedroom wall.

I cannot bestow enough accolades upon Klacko and this firm. May he remain in business for as long as he sees fit!!!

The breakfront was delivered to Gold Coast Furniture Refinishing, Inc. in February 2010. A week later, Mr. Klacko provided a custom sample of my desired finish. When I okayed the sample, he quoted a job price---to which he held. The 88" x 72" x 19" breakfront had to be totally disassembled for refinishing. It underwent underpainting and at least five coats of glaze to achieve my specifications. I visited the piece four times as the work progressed, each time giving him two thumbs up. Before delivering it, he reassembled the breakfront in his shop and then disassembled it for transport to me. The only reason this whole project took three months was because the original trucker forgot the six glass dish grooved shelves and one lower interior lacquered wood shelf. We waited two months for the aforementioned to arrive. Once Mr. Klacko had all the parts, he was able to complete refinishing and level the piece. Moreover, the delivery and set-up of the breakfront to my home was exacting, problematic, and time consuming. Yet, Mr. Klacko and his team accomplished this Herculean task without a hitch.

The table came out beautiful, I couldn't have imagined it any better. Richard not only repaired the gouges, he re-finished the entire table, including the intricate detail on the table legs. He went above and beyond than just repairing the table. It's so rare to find people who take such pride in their work, I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Richard to anyone looking for furniture repair or custom cabinetry.

From the time a quote was given, to picking up the furniture, to having us see the work mid-stream, to final delivery it was outstanding and we were thrilled to have found them.
