Forward Van Lines

I hired Forward Van Lines in April 2022 to move my belongings from Washington, DC to Boca Raton, FL, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Due to a delay in moving into my new home, I arranged for my items to be stored with them for over two years (April 2022 to August 2024). Throughout that time, I paid regular storage fees and the final delivery fee when my belongings were finally delivered. However, when my items arrived in August 2024, a valuable box containing artwork worth over $5,000 (including an original piece by John Lennon) was missing. I immediately contacted Forward Van Lines, but they failed to explain where my belongings were and could not even provide proof of delivery. After weeks of trying to get answers, they stopped responding altogether. To make matters worse, the delivery fee was charged under the name Brooks Moving and Hauling, which I later discovered is the same company as Forward Van Lines. Despite this, neither company has taken responsibility for the missing items or communicated with me to resolve the issue. Iâ ve been forced to file chargebacks with my credit card company and pursue other legal options to recover what I can. This company is unprofessional, unresponsive, and completely unreliable. If you value your belongings and expect decent customer service, I strongly recommend avoiding Forward Van Lines and Brooks Moving and Hauling.

Very friendly from first contact to finish. Efficient. Goes out of the way to protect your items. They will place items in the room of your choice. They will also pack your items if needed. Very reasonable price. I would most definitely recommend this company!!!

They were reasonably priced. They worked quickly and efficiently yet they take great care of all of your belongings. They were also easy to book and the guy takes the reservations is super nice.

The guys arrived right on time and got working. They disassembled and reassembled it at our new house.

I was happily surprised with their professionalism. They were nice, pleasant and kept me informed on everything that was happening. They offered great service at a reasonable price.

Everything was packed well and boxes labeled efficiently which helped make the move seamless. The staff were all incredibly professional and quick workers with positive helpful attitudes.

These guys were awesome. Incredibly quick and professional. I had a lot of stuff to move. They were on time and moved very carefully all my stuff. Everything was wrapped and out the door in the given time.

All furniture looked perfect with no damage on arrival. Also it was really easy to make a reservation and to get a time that worked for us. They did a fabulous job moving all of our belongings with care.

They were right on time, worked incredibly efficiently and were a joy to work with. I had my house moved to an apartment across town by lunchtime. I highly recommend using them!

Very bad experience. Do not touch this company! They broke and ripped my furniture, even took some and broke the tile in my home. Took the money in the middle of the job and threw my furniture when I did not want to pay before they were done! RUN AWAY FROM THEM THEY ARE NOTHING BUT CROOKED!

Great service, timely and professional. Not your usual moving company. I have moved many times (10+) and they were the best. From sales(Bryan) to the crew (Henry and team), they made moving less stressful and more organized.

These guys were wonderful! They helped us out in a pinch when another moving company backed out on us. They worked hard, fast, and took care of all of our furniture. We had to move some stuff to an apartment and the rest to a storage unit. They pulled it off without a hitch. I am definitely hiring them again when we move again.

A very prompt and professional company. The contact person was very helpful and was the fastest response of all the inquiries for my move. Scheduling on short notice made it necessary to make an alternative choice on my behalf. But they deserved to be highlighted for their professionalism.

Forward Van Lines were very reasonable, accommodating and punctual! Their service is fast and effective. We have used them for a full apartment move as well as delivering large purchases (fridge, couch, etc) and had a wonderful experience each time. They are my Go To movers and will happily refer them to all my friends!

I can't recommend Forward Van Lines enough! The entire process from quote to booking to moving was so easy. The crew was fantastic, helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. I would definitely use them again!

The 2 crews who moved us were professional, and arrived with a very positive, can-do attitude. All our items were handled with care, and because we had new carpets installed they were vigilant about taking off their shoes before stepping onto the carpet. We are very impressed and grateful for their work and consideration.

These movers were excellent especially Owner. They arrived on time and took their time wrapping all of my furniture. If I had to use them again I most definitely would. Thank you guys
