Contractor gave pricing on estimate, did not give written contract or warranty on what work he warranties or what happens if repairs or problems arise. During installaton of drain pipes and water shut off valves, a leak accured after vanity was installed. Luckily, I had my painter painting the master bath and he heard dripping he brought it to my attention. I called contractor and he had to pull up existing bamboo laminate flooring at adjacent closet due to water. Contractor repaired the leak thanks to painter awareness. Scratches on my Maytag fridge, which was not brought to my attention, no apology and I had to ask the contractor to paint the scratches, I asked contractor to order paint which was only $3.49 and he asked me to order it and have it sent to my home and he would come over and paint scratches. I was away March 10 to Apr. 19 2009 and upon my return I used my dishwasher as contractor re-installed all appliances. I used dishwasher and after two days I noticed water on the floor. I called contractor to ask him what could be wrong, he said "I'm not an appliance guy". I said you moved the appliances out and then you re-installed them when job was complete. He would not come over to check. I called service and guy came out said nothing was wrong and I could use dishwasher again water on the floor. I called a plumber, plumber pulled dishwasher all the way out and found a cracked water line. However, we noticed water marks on the NEWLY INSTALLED CABINETS AND THERE WAS MOLD. I CALLED THE CONTRACTOR AND TOLD HIM I FOUND MOLD, HE TOLD ME TO GET A JOB VAC AND VACUUM WATER AND GET AN INDUSTRIAL FAN AND DRY OUT KITCHEN. CONTRACTOR AWARE I AM DISABLED AND LIVED ALONE, HE KNEW I COULD NOT DO THAT ALONE. I SAID YOU KNOW THAT I CANNOT DO THAT. I THEN SAID WHAT WILL I DO WITH THE CABINET, HE SAID WELL YOU WILL HAVE TO ORDER NEW CABINETS AND THE GRANITE TOPS ARE IN TWO PIECES SO YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SAVE THEM EITHER. I SAID I CANNOT AFFORD TO DO AN ENTIRE KITCHEN OVER, THIS IS BRAND NEW. I TOLD HIM I HAD INSPECTOR FROM DEPT OF HEALTH AND HE SAID I COULD HAVE SOMEONE TAKE OUT THE SIDE PIECE OF WOOD FROM CABINET AND THE BOTTOM BOARD THAT GOES ACROSS CABINETS. CONTRACTOR GOT MAD AND YELLED "THESE GUYS DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT, WHY DOESN'T HE CARRY A TOOL BOX AND FIX IT FOR YOU THEN". I SAID AGAIN "I CANNOT AFFORD TO HAVE A NEW KITCHEN WITH GRANITE COUNTERS. I PAID YOU $60,000 AND THAT IS ALL MY MONEY. I THEN CALLED A NEIGHBOR AND HE REFERRED A FRIEND WHO IS A CABINET MAKER AND I ASKED HIM DO I NEED TO REBUILD AN ENTIRE NEW KITCHEN, HE LAUGHED AND SAID NO, HE TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY AND HE TOOK OUT ONE PANEL ON SIDE OF CABINET, CHECKED FOR MOLD AND THAT WAS IT. CAN YOU IMAGINE THIS CONTRACTOR WAS TRYING TO TALK ME INTO REDOING A NEW KITCHEN!!!!! HE WOULD NOT DO THE REPAIR WORK. I CALLED HIM FOR 2 WEEKS AND HE NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS. HE WAS TOO BUSY TRYING TO START AN ENTIRE NEW BUSINESS.

The contractor gave pricing on an estimate. No contract or warranty on work. This was a friend's family member so I thought I would get good pricing. I was very sick for 17 months with fungus infection and was not living in home. Contractor aware of this. Work started in end of December. Master bath a leak in wall, luckily my painter was painting bathroom and heard the "drip, drip of water". He told me he thought I had a leak. I called contractor and he came over, he said apparently he made a hole with a tool. Contractor had to take up laminate flooring up in closet as there was so much water and staining. The reason I did this remodel job is because I was sick from house, and mold found in Master bath. The problem arose when job was finished around Feb 2009. The dishwasher was returned to kitchen in new location. Contractor unplugged and moved all appliances, and re-installed all appliances. I was away from March until April 19th. I went to use dishwasher and 2 days later water on floor. I called contractor and he said "he was not an appliance guy". I called the repair man and he said nothing was wrong, however, the dishwasher was not placed level so water could have come out because dishwasher was tilted. Used dishwasher same thing happened, called plumber. Plumber pulled out dishwasher as I wanted him to shut off water line to dishwasher. Plumber found dishwasher had a cracked water line. The loss of so much water caused mold to the newly installed cabinets. I had Dept of Health in to inspect house, Inspector tested for mold and said the bottom side of cabinet should be replaced and front bottom part. I called contractor, he told me I should get shop vac and vacuum up water, get a fan and dry it out. I am a widow who is disabled, this contractor did all the work, and ordered and installed cabinets. Who knew I could not do this myself. I had left many messges on contractors phone and two weeks passed until I finally heard from him. He told me that I would have to get new cabinets, as I couldn't just replace one side of cabinet, he also said I would need new granite as granite was in two pieces. I said Dept of Health Inspector said all I needed to do is change one panel on side of cabinet. Contractor started yelling " I love it, these guys have no idea what they are talking about, so you should have told him to get his tool box out and fix it. I told contractor I could not pay for an entire new kitchen. He would not do the work. I hired a cabinet maker who did a beautiful job, I had asked him would I need an entire new kitchen, he just laughed and said no.

From gut to finish was only two weeks. Dust and noise to the rest of the house was almost non existent. I hardly knew that they were working. The finished job's value far exceeded the cost. This is the only home repair/remodeling company that I will use in the future.

The job went very well he did a very good job. I wish we would have used him to build our cabinets because he was cheaper than a home improvement store. He also does tile work as well. We would recommend him to anyone.
