I Florida Air Service 2 years ago to replace my older system. For many years I used AAA Modern Air and they gave a good estimate for replacement as well. Switched to Florida Air Service after the owner-Trey personally came to my home to provide estimate, very quick/prompt, down to earth, (not pushy type sales guy). My project was challenging due to switch from package unit to typical air handler inside/condenser outside). Have issue of flat roofs from former additions and no ducts due to layout (and relied on window units to supplement). Goal was to find a way to run duct to avoid purchasing Minisplit, (can be costly). Most other companies didn’t have solution within my budget or just said (no way to resolve). Not Trey -(Florida Air Services). Trey found a way to solve the issue at competitive rate, and what sold me was 10 years parts and labor BOTH COvERED (on my York brand). Other companies not even close. He measured and determined right size 3.5 tons, had 4 ton before. Saves money and cools quickly. Trey is experienced and learned from his late father, Trey and sister Jessica both have been in family business many years. Trey won’t try to sell you something that he doesn’t think you need. I was skeptical about the warranty of 10 years. It’s been 2 years and had to call for service due to noise with outside fan blower. Trey picked up the phone even though it was well past 5pm. My unit was still able to cool so he sent someone out very next morning. Determined a problem with fan motor going bad and York covered the warranty, (just as Trey said when he sold me the system). No service charge, no labor charge, $0 to replace it for new! No more noises and cooling normally. My former Trane or Bryant package unit from AAA Modern Air, a reputable company, but after original warranty, maybe 5 years, almost every year had to replace (exterior) fan blower-motor. (but never had to replace condenser). The replacement parts (new) came with 90 days warranty and cost $600-$700 to fix-only to break a year later. (paid to replace 3-4 times over 10 years), why I switched to Florida Air Service. They are awesome and stand by their word, outstanding service. Will purchase next unit from them when time comes, highly recommend-ask for Trey.

The company did excellent job. The technician was in time to do his job and explain me why the old air conditioning was not working. The person in charge in the office, Ms. Jessica Hall, was very diligent helping me with the paper work that the condominium requieres in a short time.

Had new A/C and ducts installed. Quote was reasonable and fair. Ductwork was seamless and the workers kept our home clean as they went along. Workers stayed masked the entire time and were very nice. Staff answered all questions quickly. A/C working smoothly and keeping our home cool. Would definitely recommend.

The manager/Boss Jessica was very accommodating and very helpful! She explained everything Thoroughly even to the last detail and what to expect!!! I definitely appreciated that! The Master Technician Trey was punctual kind knowledgeable and took great pride in his work! I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing and I felt confident With the service provided! This company was very responsive in coordinating a visit to my home, but demonstrates a complete lack of integrity. I was very disappointed in their work. They attempted to charge me upward of $4,000 to replace my entire heating and cooling system along with a $300 service fee. I subsequently had another company evaluate my heater and they charged be a total of less than $200 to fix a minor part of it, as opposed to replacing the whole system. Be weary of this company for future work.

"This is a 16 year old unit that you didn't want to fix or replace. This customer was selling her apartment and the sale wouldn't go forward until the heat was working PROPERLY. She didn't care if her unit stopped working the day after she was out of there and had no intention on paying for a permanent remedy. Our company's integrity is backed by over 30 years of quality workmanship and solid core values. We are a family-owned and operated company and refuse to take short-cuts or make jury-rigged repairs. We replaced your broken thermostat, at no charge, and performed an accurate diagnosis on a failing reversing valve. Your unit was heating and cooling upon our departure because the technician was able to loosen the hardened build up from around the valve enough to get it to engage temporarily. You were told that the system would once again fail due to the valve not functioning properly. Your system is over 10 years old and our recommendation for any system of that age is to replace it, as is standard practice in our industry! A standard repair on a reversing valve would require a purge of the entire refrigerant system, (which your unit is using an older, much, much more expensive refrigerant, R-22), replacement of the filter-drier and recharging the unit; the material alone would have been well over $1,000, and then you have to add in the man hours to perform the work. So whatever "repair" made that you paid less than $200 for, I'm sure, was a temporary band-aid and you'll be leaving that guy a bad review next. We were honest, upfront and extremely fair with you on pricing out a new system. Had I giving you a free diagnosis, jury-rigged the unit and gave you a free thermostat, this false review wouldn't even be here."
