Excalibur Moving Group

This is the worst company I have ever done business with. Once they got paid, it was nothing but lies. Also, they are hard to get a hold of. The person you need to speak to is "out of the office" or "on the phone" or "will call you back." We reserved the truck because they told us they worked dispatch so we'd know where our stuff was at all time (false.) We were told our stuff would arrive in 5 days (false.) After a week, we found out our stuff was in storage because they couldn't move the truck until it was full, which was 25,000 lbs (we had less than 2,000 lbs.) After it finally left storage, we were told 5 days for delivery (false.) Then another 3 days (false.) The day it arrived (21 days later) we were told delivery would be by 5pm (false.) It ended up arriving at 10:15pm in a Budget truck scattered around (we were told it would be in a moving truck in a separate bin.) The movers asked for cash (don't think so.) My son had a broken, stepped all over chair ($400) and there were 2 missing bar stools ($100 each). He was also able to roam the truck for other items he couldn't find (Liability issue.) The next morning my son called Excalibur. They told us 3 times we'd get a claim form (nope.) A manager said to pay the remaining $470 and she'd refund it (nope.) I've asked for copies of all the paperwork and I got a picture of the front page (not a pdf) and I don't have a copy of the last page of it (weird.) The moving manager of Platinum Van Lines (the actual movers) told me he no longer worked for the company and directed me to the owner. I called him and his number is disconnected. Finally my son talked to the owner of Excalibur. He said he would refund us $770 if my son removed all social media postings (Yelp and the BBB) if he signed a non disclosure agreement, so he did (shady.) We were told they'd send a cashiers check and 7 weeks later we still haven't received it. We've tried to get a hold of them and they are ignoring us (surprise.) I hope this helps!
