Eden Florist & Gift Baskets

Called one week before the needed delivery which was a very special birthday for my mother. Was out of the country when I discovered that the delivery had not been made as of 3:30 pm. I spent a good part of my day placing out of country phone calls to which the owner of Eden florist said the delivery was not scheduled for morning. I specifically stated early delivery. So, I wait and call again at 4:30pm and was told by the owner that she had to call a friend to make the delivery and told me some story about her delivery driver. I call my mother who finally gets the delivery at 5pm-it's completely wrong-I call owner back and leave a voicemail explaining that the order is wrong and received at 5pm! My mother tells me that the card said Greynolds florist on it! I called the owner the next day and she said she assumed I knew what she meant when she said a friend delivered the flowers. How can a business owner actually conclude that this is acceptable. When she said a friend, I'm supposed to assume that means a different florist? She sent me a pathetic arrangement the next day in addition to the first one, but both are practically dead and very amateur. I asked for a specific arrangement, specific vase and balloon! I got none of the above and the owner of Eden florist was quite sharp and offered to give me half of my money back if she got the first delivery from the florist she used! Wow, what a dishonest person this is! I order flowers very often and was looking for a new place and this was by far the most dishonest experience! Shame on you Eden florist!!!
