DIXON REFINISHING

An aunt recently gave me a dresser that my dad had made in about 1950. It was pretty scratched up and not made of the best wood but it has huge sentimental value and I was happy to get it. I decided to get it refinished and spoke with several companies. A friend had used Dixon Refinishing and highly recommended the company. My husband and I met with the owner Cindi and she said she would be able to make the dresser look a lot better. She does a lot of refinishing on a lot of nice pieces yet she understood the sentimental value of my piece and treated me and my dresser with respect. I really liked her and knew she would do a good job. We left her with the dresser and she had us come back a few days later after she had sanded it and it was beautiful! A cousin had scratched his name in the top and there were lots of dings but she had it smoothed out and looking great. There were even some cracks in the wood that she was able to patch. It really looked amazing! We decided to have it stained darker and when we picked it up a few days later it looked beautiful! Cindi is a true professional. She really knows wood refinishing and is great at what she does. I'm so glad we found her and trusted her to do the job.
