I had work done by Designer Shutters and it was probably the worst I have ever had. Everything was fine up until ordering the product. Once I ordered it I was told that it would take about 3 1/2 weeks. They actually kind of expedited it so it could happen more quickly and instead of 3 1/2 weeks I almost want to say it took 6 weeks for the shutters to get here. Now there was a holiday and I was told that, but I kept getting empty promises or I would call and wouldn't get a call back. Once I finally did get the products in my home and in the kitchen, which is a pretty big plantation shutter, several of the flaps had warped like within a month and in the office I noticed that on the corners the creases aren't tight and there's actually a big crack up the side of one of the wood frames. I don't know if that was from installation or if it was prior. He came on February 28th to look at it and then I didn't hear from them at all. He said that he was going to take care of it and he was actually going to get a whole panel. I still hadn't heard anything from him, so I called to follow-up on April 30th, called again to follow-up on May 9th, and then I called again on May 11th and left him a message at that point telling him that he could pick them up and refund or correct. He never called and I called back again on June 8th and left a voice mail. He finally called back and said that he checked with the company and he may have also called me back sometime in May, but June 25th I called and left him another message and said that I was very frustrated at this point and that he absolutely needed to correct or refund and come and pick them up and that I have somebody else. He finally called me back the next day and said that he had been on vacation since the 16th and that he was going to call them and call me back and I think it was on June 26th. He finally said that instead of getting the whole panel replaced the company would only send out the individual flaps to replace. He said that those were on order and I should have them this week or next week, so I've been calling him since the end of January or beginning of February and out of all those calls I think he called me back three times and it's usually when I'm like livid. He still hasn't said anything about the frame being cracked, but he rarely returns phone calls even before I got them. I would have to usually call him two or three times before he'd return a phone call, so this has been going on for five months, I guess, and it's just frustrating and just terrible.
Description of Work: I had no window treatments and he provided quotes for the entire house and I ended up using him for two plantation shutters.
