Don't try to be accommodating time wise, as I was. You will get pushed back. Be there EVERY step of the way and don't pay him until everything is in, completed by all of the contractors. He was very fair and did everything "the right way" as it should be. He corrected several of the existing problems in the house. Unfortunately, I had to bring in another electrician to finish the more 'cosmetic' things properly.

Scheduled the job with Vince (owner) five days in advance and appointment was confirmed the day prior to the start of the job; received a call in the morning to advise as to his arrival. Job completed in a professional and timely manner.

It was an ongoing project with probably too many schedules to coordinate. Vince was fairly good at being there when he said he would, but if something came up unexpected, like the hot water heater got de-wired (while in the process of re-wiring), he was there immediately the next day. This was also during thanksgiving and christmas, so other people had lots of emergencies. Vince did a good job of prioritizing- almos like it was a triage. I would definitely use them again.

It still is not fixed and he refuses to return our calls now.

The work was done perfectly, and I think it was a tougher job than it first may have looked. The problem was getting someone out to do the job, as was promised. Upon calling the first time, we got no reply for a week (we called two other electricians in that time, and both made appointments but neither showed up and we never heard back from them, either). Then we made an appointment with this company but no one showed up. A few days later someone called and was very apologetic for missing the appointment, so we tried again. Someone showed up for that appointment (was late by a few hours), but gave us a good estimate and made plans to return in a few days. No one followed up on that appointment, and we had to call to get the electrician to come back to finish the job. We made an appointment for 9 AM, and he made it to the house at about 1 PM, only after we called to make sure he made it-, we had to be really pushy. Bottom line: The electrician did a really good job, but what was a 1-3 hour job maybe requiring two trips to our house, took almost 4 weeks to complete. (Then again, all of the other electricians we contacted were much worse at following through, so maybe it's just the way of things in our area).

Vince finished in 1 day. Service was excellent and he put my chandelier together.

I wanted new fans anyway so when one fell down, I bought three new ones. I wired the first one but it looked a little dicey, so I called this guy from your list and he came out and told me the first one looked fine, I had done it right and that the other fan that was still up, was a 100 year old 'Hunter' fan and not to get rid of it. So I sold him the new third fan and he is looking for the piece that holds the light fixture onto the old one. Once I had the second one up he did the power check and everything was fine. He's great.

The only thing that I didn't like from this whole experience is that the original contact was suppose to be Vince and when I called the gentleman that answered was name Tony. Vince needs to teach him how to answer the phone and he was very unprofessional. Tony didn't even use the company name when he answered the phone. I had to ask him where I was calling. I eventually asked for Vince and he said he was not there and hung up the phone before I could say anything. He didn't even ask if I wanted to leave a message or what the call was regarding or anything. I had to call back again and slow him down. Tony was very unprofessional. If I would have talk to anyone else I would have rated this company an A for everything. Vince needs to talk to Tony he may be causing him a lot of loss revenue. He is not a people person. If I took the time to type this I mean I was really disappointed in Tony s professionalism. Needles to say I would come back again.

Discovered over the weekend that the hot water heater was not working and it appeared to be a problem with the fuse. Vince returned our call within an hour on Saturday night, and agreed to come by on Sunday at noon prior to a family engagement. Vince called again in the morning to confirm and showed up as promised. Turned out to be a bad breaker that was repaired quickly. Vince also was nice enough to wave the extra fee normally charged for after hour weekend calls. Planning on using them again for additional electric work.

One appointment to diagnose the problem and identify parts. Vince added the appointment to his schedule for that day when he heard my tenants were without A/C in South Florida. Returned next day to take out the old box and install and test the new. Vince communicated, let me know what was going on (I was not on site for the repair visit), and resolved the issues to my satisfaction.

Called for an estimate and Vince came out within a few days to provide an estimate. The work was scheduled within the next week. I rescheduled due to a scheduling conflict, so Vince had to send one of his associates to do the job. The young man arrived on time and worked on various projects throughout the day. He completed the work by the end of the work day.

Called them and they promised to come over on a Saturday. No one showed up. On Monday morning, Vince, the owner, called an apologized profusely. Explained that his assistant had forgotten to come to do the job. He offered to come over immediately and he did. He found the problem within 10 minutes (corrosion on the 'bus bars') and he sanded them smooth, coated them with an anti-corrosive coating, and reinstalled all the breakers. Then he rewired a couple of 3-way switches which were not done correctly by me. And lowered his price considerably because of the mix up. He was neat, clean, extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would use him again in a NY minute!

Work was completed the day after I called. It was a small job, but the company responded promptly. One of the outlets was very well hidden in back of several items in the garage (I had no idea there was even an outlet there). Somehow the workman was able to find the outlet, reset it, and then, after he was finished, put everything back the way it was. I was very pleased with the work done and will call them again for anything electrical.

I called Dependable first thing in the AM and they gave me a mid-morning appointment time. Troy arrived on-time, was courteous, professional and, most of all, reassuring.

Electrician made a service call, soon after I phoned. He checked the situation and determined that the GFI in my electrical box was defective. He replaced the GFI and the situation was corrected to my complete satisfaction. I will call Dependable the next time I have electrical work to be done.

Vince arrived to provide the estimate within a few minutes of when he said he would. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. The work was done by Troy. Troy was a good communicator, and his work was great. The job was done neatly. They explained how to operate the switch and cleaned up well.

THEY WERE RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A TRUSTED FRIEND. FOUND HIM TO BE A LOCAL EXCELLENT SERVICE MAN. CAME OUT TO MY HOME VERY QUICKLY FIXED ME RIGHT UPEND DID A FABULOUS JOB. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
