DAOUD'S FINE JEWELRY

Could not have been worse. Do not recommend this facility to anyone.

The watch was used only occasionally and then for dinner engagements.
I decided it would be appropriate to have the watch cleaned and serviced by an authorized dealer. It was forwarded to the Patek Philippe office in New York City for inspection and repair estimate.
I then received the following comments from the authorized dealer of this watch: "The timepiece was previously serviced by a non-Patek Philippe technician. There is rust found in the movement. The hands are tarnished. The dial is tarnished and scratched and must be restored ... The springbars are not of Patek Philippe manufacture." The repair estimate was $2,650.00.
 Shortly thereafter I took a copy of the estimate to Patrick Daoud, the owner of Daoul's Fine Jewelry. He advised me that I should ignore the comments of the authorized dealer as he considered the comments immaterial and inflated. He then gave examples of how companies that deal in quality products concern themselves with too many details and charge inflated prices for their services. He used Mercedes as one of his examples. He then proceeded to ignore my suggestion that he provide some consideration for selling me a watch, for top dollar, that was not in the condition he had described.
I now understand why Patrick Daoud was recently convicted in court for improper dealing (money laundering) in jewelry.

Absolutely the VERY BEST place to sell your gold or diamonds! I shopped around a lot and Daoud's offered me more than DOUBLE what other gold buyers were offering. The staff is super-friendly, but most of all FAIR AND HONEST. When I need to buy jewelry, I will go to Daoud's. Simply the BEST. Great people make it a great business!
