This company has been trimming my hug Royal Poinciana Trees every year for at least eight years. They always arrive when they say they will; do a wonderful job on the trees and then clean up like they were never here. I'll never hire anyone else to cut my trees.

Excellent service. Second time we engaged Jim Corby and both times him/ his team were very punctual and professional with no/ minimal collateral damage to yard or other ornamentals. The company is very trustworthy and I highly recommend for tree trimming/ removal, etc.

Mr. Corby wanted $850. for the job and came out the next day to do the work. He was able to cut down the already trimmed branches from a single ladder position. The very largest limb would have required some climbing and he said the tree was too slippery that day or he could use a cherry picker on my neighbors lawn which my neighbors wouldn't allow. Because the work he did was done well and cleaned up and I trusted him, based on Angie's list reviews, that he would come back to get the final limb I went ahead and paid him the full amount $850 plus a $50 tip. He never returned. When my neighbors sold the next door house and the new owner gave me permission to allow a cherry picker I called back Mr. Corby to finish the job. He came back and refused to cut the limb down unless I gave him $700. I paid completely for this work and he refused to finish the job.

Up selling should have been my first warning sign to run.
He said some time next week, i gave him my tenants phone number to schedule, adding he had a dog.

No call he just showed up , luckily my tenants dad was there with the dog .

Shortly there after, he texted me to say it would be 100$ more to cut a branch from a mango tree.

I said sure.

He the asked for payment.
I texted the tenant to see if everything was done up to speed . He said it looked like an 8yr old did the work and sent me pictures
showing all the cut tree parts in the pool.
3  skimmers on the wall he left the stuff where it layed.
I text him nicely saying the tenant was not happy and was there a way he could swing buy and see whet the problem was.

the answer sent me back , he said that's what my budget would allow.

Really ! I told him i was surprised with all his good rating on Angies list  his reply too bad!

The owner came out to give me an estimate - he's prompt, courteous and gave me the best price of the 5 estimates I got. Everything was completed to perfection. I will most definitely hire this company in the future and highly recommend!

This is the third time I have used Jim Corby's company for my seasonal tree pruning.  As always, they arrived promptly, did an excellent job and left my yard in better shape than when they arrived.  They were neat, careful and knowledgeable about how the pruning should be done.  Jim and his crew are polite, courteous and a pleasure to deal with.  I highly recommend them.

Jim and his crew arrived on time and did all work very neatly and quickly. They cleaned up my yard and left no leaf behind! Thanks to their good work, my sapodilla tree is nicely pruned, and there is a lot more sun in my back yard for all of the rest of my plants and grass to flourish again.  The crew was very professional and polite. Jim delivered the quality of work of a true expert in his field. I will definitely be hiring this company again!

Once I got the permit from the city approved I called to schedule. The crew showed up on time and were very professional and courteous. Access to the tree was difficult and involved them having to come through the home. They were very careful and meticulous with removal and clean up. They were able to remove much more than what was originally discussed. This included grinding down many large roots and the remaining tree stump. They were efficient and speedy. I thought for sure it would take most of the day, but they were done in just a few hours. They clearly had it down to a science. We didn't have to bother any of the neighbors and go into their yards to pick up any random debris, which was a plus.

I would definitely call them again and recommend them for any kind of tree service. Just a really great team! Thanks again!

The services were performed extremely well.  i was definitley satisfied with how quickly they worked as well as with how professional they were.  any questions i had were answered to my liking and Jim also offered some heads up information about what i may want to do next and how to care for some of my other tress/plants.  all around great job.

They met me when they said they would for the estimate. They kept in contact (almost unheard of in my experience). They arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up extremely well.

We schedule for 10:00 am, they came early. They trimmed the tree, very clean, very neat and cleaned up the debris afterwards. We are very pleased with their service and I would certainly recommend them.

I called Corby's on Tuesday.  Jim returned my call and said he will stop by the house by end of day to view tree.  I was not sure if I can get the 200 deal as I was not sure on the tree height.   
Jim came said he could do the job (trim tree, branches were very heavy and tree was more than 15 ft tall.) I also asked for my small palm trees to clean the old leaf bases.  I have 5 small palm trees in front of the house..  Tree is a big black olive one.
They came today did an excellent job with the tree, clean after the job and did my palm trees.  I am so happy.
I was quoted by another company that I used to use.  Not from Angie's list. He gave such and outrageous price I decided to check on Angies.  Glad I did.  I guess I paid very high price time ago when I used the other company just because a neighbor recommended.

I called Corby's Outdoor Pros on a Saturday and received a call back from Jim (Corby) on Monday morning.  He was able to come to my house that afternoon and provided me with an estimate after I showed him the trees and hedge I needed trimmed.  This included a large mango tree in my backyard that also needed canopy reduction beyond just a simple trim.  I thought his estimate was very fair and agreed to the job.  He was able to come the very next day and even showed up a few minutes early.  Jim does the work himself with two assistants.  They worked for about 6.5 hours straight and completed everything I requested.  They were extremely professional, did an excellent job, and cleared away all of the debris before leaving.  I am so pleased and recommend this company with no hesitation!  Exceptional service, quality, and value.

Initially purchased coupon for $200 for $400 worth of yard work.   Make sure to read the fine print because my trees were much taller than 15 feet and I wasn't able to use the deal.  That money was instead applied towards the regular work of trimming back the large branches of these trees that hung over my roof and neighbor's property and chopping down a smaller tree on my property.  So instead of spending $200 as anticipated, I ended up spending $650.  Not the company's fault.  Just be aware.
I was not home when the work was done, but from my later inspection, the work itself was excellent and thorough.  The price was fair, and I am told the workers' behaviors were all professional and helpful. They also gave additional advice on next steps and more options for managing our trees. They showed up on time, did the job, cleaned up and left after a quick review by my wife.

Jim Corby came out the same day I called for an estimate.  He came to perform the work the day after I accepted his bid.  They showed up when they said they would got right to work, did a great job, and cleaned up everything.  They did a great job.  

Jim Corby contacted me right away and made exceptional effort to come out for price qouting. He presented in a professional manner and made arrangements to complete the job in a timely manner. The property was recently purchased at the time and was not lived in for a long time. Jim stated that the trees were probably never trimmed. I was not present when the work was completed so I can not comment on the work that day but it was A LOT of work, the trees were between 20 + feet. I was very very pleased and the house looks brighter and more inviting.

I believe the gentleman we dealt with was Jim Corby. Unlike some of the other tree trimming services on Angie's List, JIm quickly responded to my request for a quote, scheduled the work promply and showed up on time to do the work. The job was completed in a single day and they removed all debris and clippings, leaving my property looking clean and neatly trimmed. My oak trees are some 40 - 60 feet high, and they came and cut out all the dead limbs, cut off the sucker growth, and did an overall nice job. The price they quoted and charged was very competitive and I was pleased that I didn't have to chase them to call me back or to schedule the work. I had previously contacted several other tree trimming services listed on Angie's List, and had difficulty even getting a return call. I would definitely use Corby again.

I purchased the deal from Angie's List for $199 for $400 value. Did a very nice job cleaned up and pruned very well. I happy with the result great job for the price. Will use in the future to do more detailed work.
