Needless to say our a/c went down in June! Well we first contacted Cool Power on a Saturday night around 7 pm. Bernard Boucher, the owner, said he could come over to do an estimate the next morning, SUNDAY! I arrived home from a trip at 8 am the next morning and Bernard had already been there and checked out the unit and left. The unit needed to be run on fan only for a while so he come come back and determine the problem. He told my roommate he would return at 12:30-!pm, which he did, right on time. Upon his return he very quickly determined the problem and gave us 3 options on what to do. After a decision was made he gave us a very fair estimate and printed it out right there. He said it would take a day or so to order and pick up the unit we needed. After he left the air really took quite a while to cool off again but this wasn't a surprise as the unit was on its last legs anyway. We called and told him it was really hot in the condo that night and he said he would come by the next morning and tune it up so at least we could have some cool air while we were waiting for the new unit to be installed. He did this at no extra charge as we live very close to the business although I would have been happy to pay extra for that. He did this the next morning, very early again and the air was a lot cooler. Our unit was ready to in stall the very next morning, keep in mind this is only 72 hours from first contacting Bernard at Cool Power. On Tuesday our new unit was installed in just the amount of time we were told it would take, a little less for that matter. Bernard arrived very early once again and was done by 1 pm. Not only did he clean the floor inside where he was working he also cleaned up everything outside as well. This was a great experience and I hope since this is the first review for Cool Power on Angies List his business is a continued success!
