Conserva Irrigation of Ft. Lauderdale

Our sprinkler system developed a leak. I called Juan with Conserva Irrigation. Juan told me I had to have a landscaper remove a root system before he could address the leak. Juan helped me to find a landscaper who did a fabulous job. Juan was supposed to have a crew of his own immediately follow the work of the landscaper to fix the sprinkler system (as the water to the entire house had to be shut off to grind out the root system). The problem is that no one from Conserva Irrigation ever showed up after the landscaper finished his work. I did not even receive a call. We went the entire afternoon and overnight without water in the house. When I called the next morning, I was told we were not even in Conserva's appointment system. I asked when I could expect them to show up to help me. Conserva could not give me an estimate and the best they could do was tell me they would get back to me by 4:00 p.m. (that was to get back to me with a call but no assurances I would see a repair crew that day). I moved on and found a sprinkler company who sent someone out within one hour of my call. I would give less than one star if allowed to do so. Hire Conserva Irrigation at your own risk!

Set up an appointment with Conserva Irrigation one week ago to inspect my irrigation system and repair a sprinkler. I received no news from them throughout the week, but placed a call with them today to confirm my appointment. After confirmation of the 2-4 PM appointment, I was told I could expect the technician at 3 PM. At 3:52 PM, I received an email from Conserva of my inspection results- a blank form, and I know nobody had come to visit. When I called again at 5:30 they informed me they couldn't contact the technician or know what happened to him, and that they'd forward my case to the 'emergency team' to make things right. It's been an hour since that call and I've received no news from Conserva Irrigation. Their lack of transparency, inability/lack of desire) to contact me, and willingness to just waste 4+ hours of my time speaks volumes about the company. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for your irrigation needs, and find people who will respect your time and money.

The technician was professional. The cost was a little high. It was more than the cost of the original Sprinklerite system. I had had problems with the flow on the system for quite some time. I had tried adjusting it myself but with no success. The technician replaced the intake, the hose and the valve. I can now adjust the valve to regulate the flow and if I open up the valve all the way, it will empty the reservoir tank in a couple of hours. No matter how much I opened up the old valve, the flow was negligible and I still had rust. The cost was high but after many frustrated months I now have a system that works. So I guess in the long run it was worth it. Additionally, the technician came out, assessed the problem and gave me an estimate at no cost. Also, this was the only company I found that would even come out. Other companies that I called wanted to replace the system.

The people at Conserva are very professional and the business is run extremely well. Appointments are on time. Unfortunately I was expecting a little more from them as they are well rated everywhere. I explained the situation where I got many people coming over doing work to fix my water loss problem but to then keep having the problem and spending more and more trying to fix other things. It turned out they did the same. I ended up spending more than $1k and they almost guaranteed that the problem would be solved, so based on their rating I decided to go with them. The job was well done and neat but unfortunately my problem was never solved. Now they are telling me I need something else which will cost me more.

They sounded very professional on the phone. They showed on time for the appointment. I even made a mistake on the address I gave them and they were nice and gracious about it. They performed a complete review of my system and gave me a professional explanation on what they had found. They gave me an estimate on the lower four digits which I found a little high. On top of that they offered me an annual maintenance plan that would cost me $347 a year and according to them would give me peace of mind since they would check my system bi-monthly and keep it in top condition. They suggested that I changed the timer which at the end I found out was unnecessary. I asked to think about it. Before them I had already contacted a different company who offered to fix my system for $600 but the guy who did the estimate was unprofessional and I did not like his explanation of my problem so Conserva Irrigation was my second opinion. I have no doubt on the quality of their work even though I ended up not hiring them. I looked for recommendations this time through a neighborhood group and got the third estimate from a Company I found with good reviews in the group. This guy and his team performed a very professional inspection, gave me a convincing explanation and their estimate for the whole repair was below the annual plan cost that Conserva Irrigation offered me. I hired them and will be making a great review on them. I ended up paying more since they found a broken line that was limiting the pressure on my system and fixed it. My total cost was slightly above the annual plan Conserva Irrigation was selling me. My system is working great now but not thanks to Conserva Irrigation and their overinflated price. I don't want to bad mouth them. I am sure they do their job fine but I believe they charge too much. If price is important to you, get a second opinion. In my case getting a third was worth it and made a great difference on my finances.
