It was more of the pricing and they ran the advertisements over and over again and every month the price would jump back up. I would call them and say it wasn't a deal and they'd take it back down and now that the deal is over the prices jump through the ceiling. Some things like almost $200 a month and no need for one but it was all the package. The Internet and the cable service is what I'm actually using in a weekend house where I'm only available once or twice a month for a weekend and there are no premium channels whatsoever. The guy who installed it was good. He did a good job but the company sucks. The service guy was great. I literally hate the company.
Description of Work: They provide a bundled package of cable, Internet and phone service.

This is the worst corporation I have ever dealt with. They are the most polite, inept people I have ever encountered. I installed the service in May of 2014....it has never worked correctly. My cable freezes and requires rebooting at least 2-3 times per week. Yesterday my DVR stopped, it will not reboot, they will not answer the phone. All in this company is the lowest of the low. They take your money and don't deliver the promised service.
Description of Work: Service is sporadic, customer service is unavailable, technical support lines drop dead after 20 minutes of waiting for a technician.

After 20 years, we added phone service to our cable and internet. This was the begiinning of the Nightmare on Elm street. The phones worked most of the time, but there were too mant outages. I lived with it until about 7/20/14. Then the nightmare began. On the first day all services went out. I called Comcast and they sent a repairman about 2 days later. He said it was an outside problem and said the outside group would come the next day. I saw trucks the next day but my service did not come back. I called Comcast again and told them what was going on. Everybody at their call centers spoke bad english. Finally a few days later an outside worker for Comcast came and did some tests and said it was an inside problem and said an inside person would come. The inside person never came, so i called Comcast again and two days later an inside person came. He did some tests and went outside and never came back. After 8 days of no service called AT&T and they spoke perfect English and were so professional. The best part was they gave me more channels and more receivers for less money. I never cancelled my last call with Comcast and they still did not fix my issues atrer 10 days! I am now with AT&T a month and never been happier. I would say that we are living in our home for 28 years and Comcast is the worst service company i have ever done business with. Their call centers do not speak good English, they had terrible field people and they were a joke. You might think their pricing is good, but if you ever have a problem, it's going to get real bad for you, real fast! If all the above was not bad enough, when I called to cancel, Comcast would not give me credits for the full amount of 10 days of no service. You see, when you call their 800 number for service, the automated attendant asks you to choose what service is giving you trouble, i.e.: 1 for telephone, 2 for internet, 3 for cable.There is no 4 for all of the above! Someone there told me to choose telephone because that gets the highest priority for servive, so I kept choosing telephone. When I called for credits, they told me since I chose telephone, they would only give me credits for telephone. COMCAST IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPANY EVER! Stay away at all costs!
