Everybody was professional, courteous and proficient . They measured and remeasured and discussed the light placement to make 100% sure it was it the right position. They covered the work area and furniture to protect it. The prices for a couple of parts seemed very reasonable. There were 3 gentlemen here for almost 3.5 hours.

Steve at Code 1 Electric was super responsive to my needs. He was able to accomodate my schedule. The workers were very knowledgeable and friendly. The price was great and the quality of the service exceeded my expectations. I will certainly recommend him to my friends and family and will call him again.

Code 1 was very professional - showing up a little early after calling to see if it was okay. The manager inspected the junction box and discussed the project with his technician. Then he quoted me the cost for the work. After I agreed to the price, he wrote an invoice for me to hold until the work was completed. The technician finished the work in less than 10 minutes and called me to inspect it. I was thoroughly satisfied that everything was completed - quickly and professionally!

I dinged them on professionalism because although they do good work within a reasonable timeframe, they balk at scheduling the work when our maintenance technician is available to meet them on site to supervise. This is a reasonable request, and they should be geared to complying with their customers' policies.

I have used Code 1 electric on 3 separate occasions. They are always prompt and professional. I got lucky and found them online without reading any reviews. It was an emergency situation and my home had no power. Steve himself responded late, if i recall correctly it was about 6pm, and diagnosed the problem as the main circuit breaker. He had the house back up and running in no time. I have an older home and the wiring is still original. Steve noticed that from the breaker to the panel was still wired with copper and informed me that i would want to think about having it switched to aluminum. He did not pressure me or try to scare me, just simply gave me a quote. I don't recall how much he charged but i did discuss it with my father-in-law and he mentioned that the prices were extremely fair. About a month later, i was able to free up the money and he and his crew returned and finished the job by flashlight. About a year later, i installed a bathroom exhaust fan myself and called him to see about wiring it up for me, as I am cautious wiring myself due to the age of the home. He quoted me $100. His crew arrived on time and was in and out of here in under 30 minutes. On all three occasions, i found them to be professional, courteous, and do excellent work. My only complaint, is they left hand prints left on the wall near the break panel, with no attempt to clean it up. I have and will continue to use them for all my electrical needs.

The first day, I went to work and when I returned, the upstairs lights and electrical box was done. The second day, I came home and the downstairs was done. It was so beautiful and such a change to have light. If it hadn't been for the new lighting, I would have never known that they were there. I didn't notice dust and absolutely no mess. Since I hadn't gotten a ceiling fan yet, I knew that they would be back to install the fan. About a month later, one of the bulbs blew out, and I didn't know how to change it, so I called Steve and he said that he would come out and show me how to change the bulb. I asked if he could also install the ceiling fan and change three bathroom vents. He said, "Of course". They arrived promptly the next day and were finished within a few hours. Again, had I not been there, I would have never known they were there. I have been looking for an electrician for years. Steve and his crew are polite, professional, prompt, tidy and the quality of their work is superb.

They did not show up on the 1st scheduled appointment, unfortunately, like most contractors I have dealt with, but Steve was very apologetic and promptly rescheduled. They showed up early and finished the work ahead of schedule. Quality of the work was very good. I would use them again.
