Central Broward Animal Hospital

Cat  had tooth surgery, prices are high but they care about the animals. I have been using them for years.The employees there are long term employees ( been there for a long time). They also do Golden Retriever rescues and charity to help animals.

There was no wait. They are very personable.

I have used this veterinarian hospital for about 15 years and this is my second round of pets. In the 15 years, it is the same people working there, the same vets, same people working behind the  desk in the front and that says alot. They are a little pricey but I totally trust them with my pets. I was out of town one time and one of my pets got sick and I called them.  The vet called me right back.

Everything went very well. The staff was friendly and knowledgable and made me and my kitten feel very comfortable. I will definitely be going back there.

Dr. Wald is a very talented and compassionate veterinarian who performed our pets surgery with such skill and technique that without question has left us 100% confident to recommend his services to family, friends, and any stranger willing to listen. Dr. Wald not only performed well beyond the Top 5% of Veterinarians in South Florida, in terms of the end result, but also took the time to personally call us before and right after the surgery to update us on our little girl. She is healing perfectly!

After our vet did all he could for our 14 year old bullmastiff, he advised us to go to an animal hospital for continued care. The front office staff were kind and efficient. Dr. Lezcano was great and had an outstanding bedside manner. She took her time and was very informative about everything. Bloodwork, urine and x-rays were done along with take home medications. Two days later Dr. Lezcano called us twice and told us the results and options. We are very satisfied with our experience and would definitely recommend taking your pet to C.B.A.H.

I boarded my purebred German shepherd there many times over the past several years, and have been very pleased at the attention and care they give him. I would highly recommend this location for boarding, although the veterinarians are on the expensive side, and seemed very interested in pushing products and services that are expensive and not always a necessity.

The facility is really clean and the staff is very nice and courteous. Our puppy is still young, so she gets really hyper, but the nurse and physician didn't mind. They were very good and were able to do her exam without any problems. The physician was able to answer all of our questions that we had and didn't try to rush us out of there. She also gave us a couple courtesy calls at home to see how our puppy was doing when she was getting over the bronchitis. The facility is a very calm atmosphere and they make sure the the dogs aren't getting too stressed out when there.

Very Friendly Vet and an obvious animal lover.  Both of our animals were very comfortable with him and the price was reasonable.

The environment was clean and cheerful. The office and medical staff seem to care about the pets and they are very thorough.  They spent plenty of time discussing my cat's behaviors and what those behaviors might indicate.  They were knowledgeable and compassionate.  Expensive?  Yes, but on par with any other vet I've received services from.  They left the treatment choices up to me and I didn't feel pressured to purchase more service than I could afford.   

I like that they don't push unnecessary medication and treatments off on you. They are very knowledgeable and very nice staff. Everyone seems to really care about the animals. I have not had to take my cat back but I do pick up my friend's medication for her cat. I will continue to use them again in the future.

Even w/the discount was very expensive to get my dog spayed. Ppl were wonderful & never waited long at all for my appt. However highly recommend pet insurance b/c it is quite expensive here.

My wife and I have had a dog (or dogs) for the past 14 years. In that time, we
just moved back to Florida and found this vet practice on Angie's List. Based
on the reviews, we decided to give them a try. I will start by saying that this
is my favorite vet I've ever used. From the time we first called to schedule
the appointment, this practice has been nothing but outstanding.
The girls at the desk that help keep the place running were fantastic - very
friendly and courteous. They were able to provide me with a very accurate
estimate of costs for what we needed to have performed for our dog.
I met with Dr. Powers and she was very friendly and informative. She performed
the checkup and the dental on our dog and our dog's teeth look like new again.
The reception area and examination rooms are exceptionally clean and don't have
any animal smell that you often get at a vet practice.
I was able to drop off my dog before work and pick her back up before 7pm on
the way home.
To sum up, Central Broward Animal Hospital has very friendly and professional
staff, knowledgeable and friendly doctors, an exceptionally clean facility,
very reasonable prices, and convenient hours with the ability to drop-off and
pick-up at your convenience. We are happy to have found such a great vet
practice!

We rescued our Golden Retriever Maggie in June from the Golden Rescue of South Florida. She was going through a round of treatment for worms at that time, which she had picked up when she was abandoned in Homestead. Unfortunately one round wasn't enough, and in August she started having problems again. It was then that we took her to Central Broward Animal Hospital, on the recommendation of the rescue organization and based on reviews from Angie's List. We were able to get her an appointment the same day and the vet as well as the entire staff we very friendly, professional, and efficient. They are our vet of choice now.

This was a wonderful experience for us and the puppy.  The appointment was on time and the staff very courteous.  The office complex is beautifully maintained.

The two vets that I saw appeared to be very knowledgeable and were fairly patient with my questions.  They offered recommendations that differed from others I had received.  I was satisfied with the service that I received.  They recommended a non-anasthetic dental, which pleased me.

We use them frequently. They are excellent. They are very caring and efficient. They are good all the way around. They are absolutely professional.

This recent visit related to a terrible skin rash on my dog's paw. They werent certain of the cause and took skin scrapes to send to the lab. She was sent home with medication and a treatment plan in case it is diagnosed as ringworm. They are very thorough in their quest for a diagnosis. I do believe, however, that their prices are very high, even for routine exams and innoculations. I have been a bit stunned when presented with the bill, but the level and quality of service has always been outstanding.
