BUDGET BLINDS

Still waiting 15 weeks later after I paid them for product and installation.

Mr. Gregg Hunsberger arrived for sales appt in a clean and new model van with a budget blinds wrap on it. He was professional with a neat and clean embroidered golf polo shirt on.
Gregg measured all of the windows we needed window treatments and then made suggestions on what would work best based upon our family needs and decorating style.  He also explained the difference between products and what to look for if we are getting quotes from other competitors.  I received an education and that was very helpful when we compared his quotes to others.
Although they were not the cheapest I felt like I was getting the most from my money.  I learned that all shutters are not created equal and the slight difference in price can have a tremendous difference on quality.  Solid vs hollow, moldings vs no moldings, plastic vs wood, etc.

. Installers: Arrived on time, neat and clean.
Owner/Sales: Delivered products were not the correct size on 5 of the 11 pieces delivered. One piece to be recut, and 4 to be remade. All would be installed when Plantation shutter came in so as to only have to come back once.
When installers came back with shutters, reworked/remade items were not brought along. Dividing bar between upper and lower shutters was not at the correct height. Shutters are also pretty cheesy for the money.
Installers came back a third day to install the reworked/remade items.
Greg still has not returned our call regarding the shutters that were made incorrectly.

Note that there are several and quot;Budget Blindsand quot; venders in the Broward county area. Friends have had good luck with other ones. The quality of the rollup and cellular shades were fine. The cornice boxes get a C, and the shutters get a D. The shutters would work fine for a window, but for a full height , 48and quot; one sided opening, they are not structurally well designed for the size.

A week later and Gregg still has not responded..... Rating downgraded to D

.It went good. We had a problem with them at one time but we decided to give them another shot and it went very well. They did it in a timely manner, they put up the vertical in the dining room and put up a shade in my room. They were very nice, budget blinds. They were very professional.

Everything was amazing and I would use BB again in a heartbeat.
