The tech showed up last Wednesday morning between 9a-10a and did the required tests. I paid the fee. The tech was nice enough and did his test telling me the tank was no good and that I needed to replace it. I asked for a written estimate for a lease and for a replacement and he told me it would be emailed to me later in the day. I signed the work order, paid and was awaiting my estimate. I never received an estimate for the work. I called Monday morning and was told that Veterans day was the reason they didn't get me the estimate. OK, Ok, not sure what happened to Thursday too but fine, things happen. The lady told me, "I heard your name this morning so they are going to put something on paper and send it to you today." Here we are Wednesday now and I don't have an estimate still. I called to ask and talked to some really rude woman. When I explained the whole situation she said, "I don't even know who I'm talking to." I then said to her, "I started the whole thing off with my name." Then she got mad and started to lecture me about how she conducts herself on the phone. I just hung up. It's too difficult for them to say, "Sir, I'm so sorry. I'd be happy to look into that. What did you say your name was again please?"

Talking with Boyes Gas Service was great.  The office staff was very helpful as well as the owner. 
You can email them pictures of your current hot water heater (and connections) and they can tell you from the pictures what is need and what extra "may" be needed so you are not surprised.
The owner Charles "Chuck" Boye is really good to work with. 
You can email back and forth with him and his staff for any questions you may have.
The work was scheduled and installation was on time.  They had to move my washing machine out of the way first to get to the water heater but that was not a problem.  They unhooked it, moved it and then put it back just as good as new.
The price was: $1,028.20 (minus $350 TECO rebate) $678.20
This is a good company to work with and if I need any other issues concerning gas, I will for sure call Boyes.
Originally TECO Gas Company recommended another company other than Boyes to replace my Hot Water Heater but in checking, I didn't like some reviews on line I read about them and asked for additional companies and Boyes was one.  I had heard of Boyes prior and reviews on line were good so I called them.  Glad I did. 
You won't go wrong with Boyes.

We save a lot of money on our electric bill since we have gone to gas 2 years ago. We use propane for cooking and hot water and heating our pool in the winter. Been using these guys for about 2 years now.  Excellent service and you can't beat the price or convenience of the delivery service. They come and check on our tank monthly and refill as needed. The office will call me to let me know they will be by that day and when I get home from work, I have a full tank. I very highly recommend these guys!

Overall, we were extremely disappointed with Boye's. We were left with no hot water with guests arriving for the Thanksgiving week. Our guests had to take cold showers. We will never use this company again.
