I had a washing machine which I think was a Whirlpool. I had the guy come out and it cost me $200 whenever I get it fixed. I went and bought another one. I had them come out and he was not sure what was wrong with it. We put a switch in it and that did not work. He put a solenoid on it and that did not work. He tried something else and that did not work. I spent $200 and it still did not work. I said that is it and I just threw it away. I was not going to waste my time trying to get this thing fixed. The only left would have been the whole computer board and that is about $400. I was not going to pay $600 for something that is going to break again. He was punctual and everything, but he just could not fix it. He did not have the knowledge to fix it, but I think that Gabriel by Whirlpool is very good anyway though. So, it might not have been his fault though.

The dishwasher still didn't work so I called him back.  He screamed at me on the phone for no good reason (like there is any good reason to scream at a paying customer).  I suggested that it may be the heating element since I had a similar problem with my old dishwasher.  He screamed some more saying that it couldn't possibly be that and hung up on me.  I called another company.  Whatcha know - it was the heating element.  Jerk!

We were getting ready to leave for vacation when we noticed the refrigerator wasn't working properly.  Most of the appliance repair companies we called simply had us put the phone up to the unit in order to diagnose the problem.  Leon was different, however.  He rearranged his schedule to meet us that day and even pleaded with one of his suppliers to stay open so he could retrieve the necessary part for the repair.  He did the repair well, and he charged a reasonable price.
